Had a great experience here! The staff was amazing! So polite and helpful! The pancake breakfast was just what we needed after a chilly night of tent camping. They take the time to make you feel welcome from escorting you to your site personally, to delivering ice and wood to your site. The restroom and showers were always clean and... More

We stayed for memorial weekend. The people who own and work there are awesome. The only complaint would be the group of campers across the road. I guess their idea of camping was to drink and party from morning till night. Quiet time was quiet though. Canoeing on the Ausable wss great. The lighthouse and shopping in tawas was awesome.... We just camped at this beautiful campground , from the time we checked in and Mike the host even helped my husband to park our new camper at our site (Thank You ). We had a very nice stay very clean campground with large pull thru sites and just what you would expect from koa. We have camped at a... More

We generally avoid KOAs, but joined friends here for a weekend. The campground has several mature trees that are strategically located so they aren't in the way and many large sites. There is a playground, game room, bouncing thing, horseshoes, bikes for rent so there is plenty to keep kids busy. We were pleasantly surprised and consider this one of... More

This campground is off the beaten path but well worth the stay. We made reservations a week in advance and the check-in went very smooth with us being guided to our site, with a bundle of wood we bought. My only complaint for this campground is the $6 price tag for a bundle of wood (option of 4 for $20).... More

I have camped all over the country and stayed at many KOAs, this one is by far my favorite. The facilities are great. The sites are large. The staff are AMAZING! They will literally bend over backwards to help you. I was thrilled with the price I was given for my group of nine. In the morning my car needed... More

Family of 7 - 3 adults and 4 kids - stayed 5 nights. Campground was practically vacant due to time of visit (week prior to Labor Day weekend). Campground was well kept, quiet and had plenty of fun for the kids. Pool was clean, had bikes for the kids to ride (fee), a bouncing pillow (fee) and small arcade. Offered a... More
