Great base-camp for touring the Porkies. Very nice location right on Superior. It is one of only a few motels in the area so rooms fill quickly., make reservations. We stayed here for 2 nights late May 2008 (post Memorial Day) and found it a nice place to stay at an okay price for where we were and the length of stay. We stayed here two nights and found the room to be clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The best part of our stay was the Friday night Fish Buffet. It was absolutely excellent! We'd go back just for that! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. more

Just returned from a 3 night stay. This is a wonderful hotel set directly on the shore of Lake Superior and just a mile from the entrance to the Porcupine Mountains.
