The room had an extra sitting/kitchen area and was more than spacious. The location was unbelievable, a short walk to Lake Superior. The town was limited, with only one or two locations to grab a bite to eat in the evening, but the scenery and the Porcupine Mtns made up for the lack of restaurants! more

This nice little hotel/resort is on the south shore of Lake Superior just a few miles west of Ontonagon, MI. The hotel is not right on the lake, but a short (1 block) walk to their private beach. The room was modest but very clean and well tended to. The owners were certainly friendly and most attentive to our needs.... more
