My husband and I spent 2 nights here. We had a wonderful experience. The owners were so nice. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds comfortable. We had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was awesome and I especially enjoyed the peaches and cream French toast.

We had a great stay at the Macleod House B and B. The Victorian Gold Room was very pretty and we slept well on a comfortable bed with lovely linens. Our bathroom was in the room and very nice and clean Breakfast was delicious and served on a lovely table setting in the dining room. We had our own fresh... More

We stayed for three nights in the midst of fall foliage season. While it rained (a lot), we had a delightful time. The room ("The Suite") was pleasant and spacious, as well as very clean. The bed was firm and comfortable. The breakfasts were something to look forward to each morning, and were delicious. Though we have no dietary restrictions,... More

Beautiful old home with wonderful vintage furnishings. Only three rooms of which 2 are suites in the home but actually prefer that because it keeps it personal. Cheryl's breakfasts are very tasty and presentation nicely done condiments of jams and breakfast muffins.....and of course the wonderful chocolate chip cookies in the early evening make a perfect snack before calling an... We stayed in the Rose Room. It was a perfectly lovely room that had the most comfortable bed we slept in during our travels through Michigan. The bathroom was down the hall but we were the only people who used it—not a problem. We stayed only one night but the caretaker wife was very friendly and made us a delicious... More

My wife and I recently stayed with Cheryl and Frank in this very unique B&B. We were very happy with our choice. Cheryl is an absolute delight. I wanted to add that there is a nice golf course, with good restaurant practically within walking distance.

Cheryl and Frank, thank you for a wonderful night's sleep and a deliciously satisfying breakfast. Your home is beyond gorgeous, and you were both gracious and welcoming. Although I'm not a huge fan of antiques, I was absolutely amazed at the wonderful pieces this delightful couple has collected, including a beautiful old pump organ in the parlor. Beautiful woodworker pieces... More

Found a place centralized in the UP, in Newberry. About a hour or so to all our destinations. Location was good, but nothing to do anywhere around there. Beds were hard and uncomfortable didn't sleep very well. Price was very reasonable, we got the suite which was two rooms. No AC but the windows opened to let in the nice... More

Cheryl and Frank have a beautiful home! The décor is exceptional and you can easily tell that Frank and Cheryl have put in years of love and hard work to make it what it is today! Each room is great! We had all three for a fun weekend in the U.P. with our kids!
