Found a place centralized in the UP, in Newberry. About a hour or so to all our destinations. Location was good, but nothing to do anywhere around there. Beds were hard and uncomfortable didn't sleep very well. Price was very reasonable, we got the suite which was two rooms. No AC but the windows opened to let in the nice... More

Cheryl and Frank have a beautiful home! The décor is exceptional and you can easily tell that Frank and Cheryl have put in years of love and hard work to make it what it is today! Each room is great! We had all three for a fun weekend in the U.P. with our kids!

We stayed only one night and wished it could have been longer. The attention to detail is evident throughout the home and in the degree of hospitality. This b&b is done right. It is a real find. We would never stay anywhere else in the Newberry area.

We stayed in the gold room. Cheryl was helpful and the house was nice. Excellent breakfast and accommodations. Outside areas and common areas were just what we needed. It was nice to have access to a microwave.

The first time we stayed here was in maybe 1990 not long after the house was moved from town and it opened as a B&B. The renovations made to the house and all the decorating done through the years was fun to see. Cheryl was fun to talk with and made a great breakfast. We stayed in the Gold room.... More

We had a gift certificate for a Michigan B and B and used it here. What a treat! We stayed two nights. Our room was spacious and bed very comfortable. The Innkeepers have had the B and B for over 25 years and know how to entertain. The B and B is in a great location. We were able to... More

Just spent two nights at MacLeod House while on a short break to hike the Falls and visit Whitefish Point. This is a restored Victorian jewel from the great Michigan lumber era. The owners have been in the B&B business for over twenty years and know what they are doing when it comes to hospitality. They had the historic house... More

My wife and I decided to take a romantic get away in the UP. We decided to stay here because it was close to the Falls and Picture Rock. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved this place. The owners were nice and the room was super clean. We hope to stay there again in the future

Beautiful attention to details, lovely decor and gorgeous collection of antiques. Enjoyed the little "extras". Stuffed french toast for breakfast. Stayed with 3 in the suite, not a problem with rollaway bed. We're rushed out in the morning. Beautiful grounds. If ever up that way again it's def a MUST!
