People smoking weed in their rooms and the place smelled of it. Not a big deal per the receptionist but the kids had to be out of the pool at 9pm sharp. Well played Newberry well played. Was told the pool was open till 1030 and nowhere on there website does it say anything different for kids. Should have stayed... More

Stayed here on our trip to see Tahquamenon Falls. Its got a few restaurants near by, but Newberry as a town doesn't have much to offer for things to do. We checked out the pool and hot tub which was excellent. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. If your looking... More

It was clean, and we were taken care of really well. We loved that the pool was open late, and the continental breakfast. Had no issues at all. Loved the room and spa. It was easy to get to. There wasn't a lot to do up in the UP but we had a wonderful time.

Stayed one night, the place was super clean and the owners were very friendly and went out of their way to help us out. I would 100% recommend this motel. We did not have a chance to use the pool, but it looked inviting...

We made reservations and paid by credit card. We got there at 11 PM and they said they didn't have a room for us. They claimed our credit card had been declined, but it worked everywhere else before and since. Besides, they did not call us back. I suspect that they sold the room out under us. The whole town... The room was roomy, clean, quiet, easily accessed from the outside, bed was comfortable. Close to restaurants and gas stations. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was only cold cereal and donuts. Prefer some hot dishes for breakfast.

It was very nice that they had a pool and hot tub it was lots of fun. The staff that we Experienced were a little bit unfriendly. I also liked that they had wifi. The rooms were very clean and nicely sized. It was nice that it wasn't far from a lot of restaurants.

Nice enough place. Clean, elevators, nice little pool and easy access parking. A little out of town but only about 5 minutes. Very weak "free" breakfast compared to every other place we stayed. Cereal, a few sweet rolls and that's it.

Traveling into the Upper Peninsula we were looking for a place to stay for one night. The America's Best Value Inn in Newberry had a room available and we found it to be very adequate for our needs. The breakfast is a bit limited and there is almost no seating, making it necessary to take your food back to your... More

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It would be worth it to drive further and find something else. Crabby desk staff. Not well kept. The room was clean and decent but no where near a $100 a night room. Continental breakfast was a joke. They'd be better off dropping it. Small little motel/hotel along the road would be better
