For the second year in a row, the Comfort Inn has taken great care of our 30+ dogsledders. Accommodations are wonderful, including yummy breakfast buffets, cleanliness, comfy beds, and hospitality. They do a great job with groups! We'll be back next year. Thanks to Jan and her staff! Carol with Trailbound Trips

You guys are a blast and we are glad you came. Kudos to all of you for the amount of time you ladies spent out in the cold. Dogsledding, skiing etc. despite below zero temps all day every day. We look forward to seeing you again next year. More

Just spent 4 nights here with a large group. And everything was perfectly fine! Don't hesitate, book it. Warm hotel on cold nights. (-30 anyone?) with a warm and welcoming staff. Great, great pillows, good beds, clean bathrooms. Yes the bathroom is tight, but has full shower & bath. It's the Low-Flow shower heads that make you THINK the water... More

Stayed over Presidents Day Weekend, had a great stay both rooms were very clean, staff smiled, and best of all the snowmobiling was amazing. The hot tub and breakfast were very nice as well. I loved the fact that they had on site snowmobile rentals. This place was top rate for what I wanted being someone that wanted to fly... More

We were driving after a long work day and decided to give the Newberry Comfort Inn a shot. It was an alright hotel, but really nothing special. On the plus side, it is close to a couple of restaurants and fuel. It was easy to get into, and there were a few places to plug in a diesel truck for... More

We had 6 rooms in our group of snowmobilers! One of our sleds broke down so we had to rent one . They rent sleds rite on site ! No one had to stay behind just one of the hotels Great amenities ! We saw the local snowmobile groomer twice in two days groom the trail that leaves the large... More

We stayed here for a night before an overnight dog sledding excursion. Just what you would/should expect from a Comfort Inn. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was the standard fare. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Apparently you can rent snowmobiles as well. The wifi was residential grade, don't plan on getting anything done on-line quickly, I was... More

My husband I were in the U.P. (what people from Michigan call the Upper Peninsula) this past weekend when halfway between Paradise and Newberry our cars alternator died. We were heading to Tahquamenon Falls area to cross country ski. We luckily had enough of a signal to call for a tow and although we had a room in Germfask, which... More

Charge us twice was credited back a day later, overpriced, people hanging out in the hallway, hotel rooms wide open, children playing in the hallway, a guy was walking around with a towel on, like he just got out of the shower, it reminded me of a college dorm out of control. we were there only because we were stuck... Dear Valued Guest, On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for failing to exceed your expectations. You have my sympathy for having to leave your dog in the car. I am a dog lover myself and this would have been heartbreaking to me as well and having to leave your car running is most definitely an... More

This hotel is overpriced for the quality of your stay here, but it's because of the area that it is in that you have to pay a higher rate. The WIFI was practically non-existent and when we inquired about it the person at the front desk told us it was because "they were booked and that there were many people... More

Sorry about the slow response, my computer has been in the shop. The connection problem with the internet is now resolved. There is a password required now and this should eliminate some of the drain on our system. In regards to the air freshener odors we are sorry they were so strong. We do offer an air machine for the... More

While the price may have seemed more than we wanted to pay, we have nothing bad to say about the stay here. The room was comfortable, well-decorated and spotless. The shower was really awesome. We got a king room on the first floor that came equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The continental... More
