We were staying in this Hotel for almost a week and did not regret it. It is well located and rather close to beautiful sites and cities such as Arles, Avignon, Saint-Rémy and Les Beaux-en Provence (about 15-45 Minutes by car). Eygalieres itself is also a charming little village with surprisingly good restaurants. The park of the hotel is very... More

I have just returned from staying one night at this hotel. I was with my partner and a friend, a single young lady. When we arrived I thought what and amazing idlic setting, totally amazing, they even have three Romany caravans to rent. This week there are festivities happening in the Village of Eygalieres we had the most brilliant time... More

Very, VERY French. Set in a large olive grove just outside the charming village of Eygaliers this sheep farm, turned hostelry is gorgeous, peaceful and terribly relaxing. That being said, don't expect to have your every whim catered to, or even your every other whim. Originally a sheep farm that has been the family seat for generations there came a... More

Suppose you re due to go on a week end with your partner, suppose he passes away suddenly and you hence try to cancel the booking with the hotel, and suppose that you send the hotel staff the certified copy of your partner's death immediatly to cancel. Mas dou pastre won t reimburse you ANY of your prepayment, despite the... More

I cant believe the negative reviews posted about this hotel. The staff were always courteous and friendly, the food was great and the service at breakfast and dinner was excellent. This is a family run hotel not a chain so dont expect 24 hour service. During the day the hotel is quiet and peacefull as it should be. The accommodation... More

This is a beautiful hotel of great individualism and distinction. It is to be enjoyed for it's atmosphere and design and not for luxury services. There aren't staff running around everywhere waiting to help but it's not that type of place. It's a place for self sufficient travelers who don't need to be, or want to be waited on. You... More

My husband and I stayed here in 2004,2003 & 2002. As the other reviewer noted the owners and staff do appear quite off hand and abrupt. however I think it might be because they don't have very much english. We were lucky enough to be looked after by a lovely guy in the restaurant called Sebastian, and both his english... More

When we arrived we were in awe of the beauty and authenticity of the hotel. The setting is beautiful (remote setting among olive groves, dinner and breakfast in the garden, nice pool and hot tub,...) and our room was big, clean and wonderfully decorated. However, something big was missing... The staff didn't seem to care whether we were there or... More
