Stayed here one night on a weekend trip. The hotel is a beautifully restored old building, that used to be part of the abbey (views on the church & abbey are great). Quiet location, on a cobble-stone square. Very nicely appointed, lots of nice lobby & sitting areas, simply but good breakfast. We stayed in the large appartment suite on... More

The hotel is immediately adjacent to the imposing Abbey in a building that has been very carefully modernised inside and has excellent decor throughout. The bedroom (No 1) was spacious with good en-suite facilities and a view over the square which forms a large car park and is some distance from the road and therefore quiet. The new owner is a... I can recommend Room 1, it was ideal for me. The town is quiet and the hotel management very polite and kind. I have no complaints at all, a great place to stay. A reasonable dinner is available at La Grange which is all of 3 minutes walk away. Tip. You will need to speak a little French to get... More

Stayed here for one night. I would concur with other reviews. The hotel is set on a beautiful square with a couple of restaurants but it is a very quiet town. My room was very good, but had a very old bathroom. At 100 euros a night for a single person I did find this hotel very overpriced, yet unfortunately... More

We have stayed here several times as it's near enough to Calais to make catching the ferry easy but far enough away to be satisfactorily French. The rooms are clean, comfortable, quaintly interesting and well appointed. There is also a good local restaurant across the square in the basement below the somewhat unprepossessing bar. The hotel has no restaurant so... More

The reviews are mixed and we did not quite know what to expect. What we found was a delightful hotel in a wonderful location, clean spacious rooms and a very generous breakfast. It was very quiet with plenty of parking outside the front door.. We ate at the Cafe, very good cooking though the wine list was a bit spartan.... More

My husband and I stayed here on our way through France to the ferry, due to Tour de France our options were limited. Lovely building in a lovely sqaure, the room was fine (4) spacious and the bathroom more than adequate for one night, I agree the pillows are small, but having spent nights in other hotels the pillows are... We booked this hotel because it appeared from what we had read that it would make a pleasantly different overnight stop on the way to the ferry port. After our planned 8-hour drive stretched to 11.5 hrs due to traffic problems en route, we arrived very tired at around 7.30pm, wanting nothing more than a drink and a snack, a... More

After a frustrating drive round Amiens looking for somewhere pretty to stay, we chanced on Saint Riquier, just south of Abbeville. A perfect, picture-postcard Picardie village, with the 17th-century (I'm guessing) hotel right next to a massive medieval abbey (cathedral), in a lovely square, just off the main road. Everything about the hotel was beautiful, including the generous (but uncooked)breakfast... More

all as described on previous reviews - rooms clean, nice location but no english spoken (apparently) - its run by a Russian couple bought fairly recently. It would have been an ok one night stop over for us - we were planning to drive down to the somme battlefields (30mins) the next day - but the reception was not very... More
