We spent one night at the Chateau and while our room was ordinary it was clean and quiet; we were in the annex and not the main building. The grounds are very nice and well maintained. The location is fantastic for the D-Day beaches and site seeing in Bayeaux. The on site restaurant is fantastic; definitely worth staying at the... More

Spent a very good 2 nights (and had 2 diners) there as a family of 4 with 2 kids. Originally, we were not very happy to be "upgraded" from our chosen junior suite in the main building to the bigger suite in the annex, but: - the room was way bigger, spread over 2 floors with a bedroom for the... From the iron gate, then along the road through manicured lawn to the carved door of the Chateau you can just feel what it was like in the 1700's. The Chateau, grounds, gardens and public rooms were all as expected-Regal. The included breakfast was sumptuous and guests can request meat and egg dishes not on the buffet so ask politely... More

Stayed 3 nights while touring D Day beaches and towns nearby - loved our large beautiful room in the building adjacent to the spa and pool. Springtime meant we could throw open the huge windows all night and view the dove cote across the drive with thye moonlight on the front lawn - very classic and quiet. So glad we... More

This was our third Chateau Hotel stay during a three-week holiday. The two in the Cevennes set the standard from which this one fell well short. At check-in, we requested an upgrade to a ground-floor Superior room because of one of us had a mobility problem. The Receptionist showed us to Room One in an external annex at a brisk... More

We spent an emotional day touring the D Day beaches and the American cemetery in Normandy. We then went to the Chateau de Sully for the night. We found the staff to be very kind and helpful. Our room was not in the Chateau but in another building very close by even though we had specifically asked for a room... More

Beautiful building but very shabby rooms. Our bathroom was missing a shower screen and the paint was peeling off the walls. could be amazing if they spent some money on it!!! The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food was lovely but fussy! They tried to over charge us so watch out when paying your bill. The common parts... More

We stayed three days in early July 2014 in a room(No.1?) located in the annex near the swimming pool - slightly more expensive but better (bigger with a bathtub) than ones in the main building we were shown. Restaurant served fantastic food and staff were super friendly. Again FANTASTIC food! Downside was poor facilities - no tea or coffee &... More

***OK, there is nothing bed you can say about it -other than the high price of it. I mean to say, that you indeed the price of a chateau accomodation -without getting the glamour, the service, the amenities. I can not say, that the staffs were not nice, and they did not do their duties nicely. As they would do... More

When you drive up to this place it definitely has the 'WOW' factor. It is a beautiful chateau in glorious gardens, the rooms are well appointed, but no mini bar or coffee making facilities. we arrived at around 3pm and wanted a sandwich, not possible, strict meal times are observed. The restaurant looked good but stupidly expensive. we therefore decided... More
