This hotel was a dream, driving up from Paris was at first a little weary when I looked and saw the age of the building. From the minute I walked in the front door, the staff was extremely attentive and friendly, going above and beyond. The room was fabulous and then deciding to eat there and take the "Half Board"... This place is awesome! It's an old (1200's) fortified farm in Normandy that's been completely renovated into a hotel and restaurant. We had lunch in a beautiful room with huge fireplace and ancient hand hewn beams. We had a crab & cream entrée, supreme of chicken, beefsteak with spinach & mushrooms, and chocolate custard with crème anglaise. Absolutely marvelous; you... More

My husband is a wheelchair user and he was helped and supported while being able to be as independent as possible. Our ground floor room was beautiful and every area was wheelchair accessible. We had a restful three days for the price of two and the food was delicious. We would definitely recommend and will return.

My family just returned from a Chirstmas vacation in Europe and this lovely hotel was our first stop. This was my first trip to France, so this hotel was actually my first impression of the country, and what a great first impression it was! The property is so charming, with beautiful rooms and impressive stone work. It feels old and... More

It is amazing to arrive in this place. Nicely renovated medieval cottage. Great extensive breakfast and delicious dinner. Only disadvantage are the thin walls and the fact that the rooms are rather small. For a larger room, one has to pay a bit too much.

We stayed at "the Ferme" a few summers ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a charming place physically, exactly what one thinks a Norman farm should be. The property has been improved since our last visit and our three rooms were completely up to date. The food and service were excellent. Given the ambiance, quality of the food, and overall... More

Excellent accomodation;great food and friendly staff. Located in Normandy, this restaurant / hotel, is well worth a visit. The property is an historic farmhouse located in the small village of Crepon. They also accomodate our four-legged friends discreetly.

This was an excellent hotel in the Normandy area and it had breathtaking grounds and flower gardens to enjoy. We enjoyed a "honeymoon" vacation in France and stayed here while seeing the D-Day beaches, museums and related sites. It was fabulous to relax with some wine each night in this beautiful chateau. It is in a peaceful country setting with... More

Other reviewers have talked about the great location and the rooms. We enjoyed the landscaping and flowers around the property as well as the good food in the restaurant. We wish we could have stayed longer. There isn't much to do in the village,; but we were so busy touring the beaches and enjoying the hotel, we didn't have time... More

Imagine staying in a beautifully restored 13th century French manor with well appointed rooms, good service and centrally located to Bayeux and all Normandy Beaches. After a long day exploring Normandy you then relax at the hotel "bar" in comfortable leather chairs, before a fire burning in a seven hundred year old fireplace having the drink of your choice. A...
