Our one day tour of Normandy stopped here for lunch. The meal surprisingly good for one that was part of a tour package. We had some time to walk the grounds of this old farmhouse turned hotel. If I was coming back to the area in the near future, I would stay here as it is very peaceful and beautiful.

This compound has a great location. It is near a small town that is a pleasant walk. The hotel has an inner courtyard with outdoor seating. The rooms are small and have no air conditioning nor do they have fans. Think twice before visiting in the summer. The restaurant is better than most I visited on my trip. The breakfast... More

We stayed here as part of a group tour. The gardens and surrounding areas were beautiful. The rooms may not be as spacious as some people would want it but it was definitely a good place to sleep in. Our room had a queen size bed and an extra twin bed right in front of the bathroom door that made... More

I booked a D-Day tour in Normandy while I was visiting Paris. The tour was a small group (8 of us, counting the driver) & this hotel is where we had our included lunch. Note: I did not stay in this hotel. Upon arriving you couldn't help but think that THIS is how I expected Normandy to look...it was so... More

We arrived after office hours and our room was ready and waiting with instructions at the front desk just as we had arranged. We booked a junior suite and were in awe when we walked in. 2 bathrooms (one with tub and shower), living room with a day bed, bedroom with king bed and beautiful furniture. Lovely grounds with flowers... More

We stayed here for two nights and would very happily have made it longer. Our room (19) was splendid and we loved the fact that the garderobe was still in use, albeit with proper plumbing!. We found the staff extremely welcoming and the food was excellent - 30 euros for a very good 3 course meal. We would definitely recommend... More

Stayed here as a base to explore the Normandy beaches. Excellent hotel with quality accommodation and wonderful regional cuisine. A pool would have been nice. Stayed in their 'other' hotel in the same village and walked here for main meal. Pleasant evening constitutional.

This is exactly what we were hoping for in a French country inn. The grounds are extremely warm and inviting. The staff was wonderful and the food outstanding. I travel a ton; well over 2,000 nights in hotels. This is in my top 3. It's very convenient to the Normandy coast, and all that it has to offer. Also an... More

The epitome of the traditional manor house. We had a beautifully appointed suite overlooking the courtyard. Climbing the stairs with heavy luggage was not easy but has to be expected. Pre dinner drinks were taken under the welcome shade of large umbrellas and followed by a wonderfully presented dinner in the restaurant. Our only very minor gripe was the absence... More

Like so many other reviews have stated this hotel is an ideal location for visiting the WW2 beaches and monuments and I do not think I can add anything new. It is comforting after a day sightseeing to return, freshen up and enjoy an aperitif before a good diner. We stayed in the farmhouse which is a short walk from... More
