Beautiful quality meals. Excellent and friendly evening service. Abrupt, regimented and unhelpful breakfast staff. Rooms very clean and unique with a lot of period character. I had room 14 which smelt like a sewer in the mornings. Closing the plug holes and toilet lid helped this problem. I would certainly recommend this hotel for the tranquility, gardens, character and evening... More

This beautiful old hotel is well worth considering. Our room was in the main building, first floor at the back - extremely comfortable and very quiet. There's free wi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities, unusual in many French hotels. Reception staff speak excellent English, as do some of the waiting staff. Breakfast was lovely, a good selection of meats... More

This ancient farmhouse is the ideal place to start the discovery of the landing beaches in Normandy. The rooms are very nicely decorated, and you are provided with anything you need. The restaurant offers delicious food. Breakfast is rather big (certainly to French standards). When the weather is nice you can enjoy a drink on the terrace which is situated... More

A very restful place to stay with character and charm but do heed a couple of guidelines. The rooms in the main farm building are well decorated and very comfortable, renovated in a style fitting to the 13-15th century farm house building. Fantastic showers too. Be sure to get the right size room though - you couldn't swing a cat... More

Beautiful hotel and restaurant in a tiny little French place near the coast with all the memories of the Great War. Authentic junior suite with al lot of space. Restaurant has nice dinner and breakfast is sufficient.

If you are anywhere near Normandy this is a place you must stay or at least have dinner. It's an old farm house and complex that the original building dates back to the 13th century. It has been beautifully restored with very careful attention to all creature comforts. The grounds, gardens and central courtyard are gorgeous. They have a bar... More

This is a nice old hotel in what feels like the middle of nowhere. Clean rooms, free wi-fi and great service. Not a lot of the personel speaks english but they try and want to help. The atmosphere is really calm and relaxing.

A cozy hotel-restaurant located in the country side of Normandy. We stopped there for lunch & were received with lots of colourful flowers that lifted our spirits right there. They served a delicious menu. The aperitif was a mix of white wine & berry liquor, not too sweet, just right. The appetizer was what they called “Cobblestone cheese”, an old... More

This picturesque, quaint hotel was a beautiful slice of France. Recommended to us by friends who were return customers, we were certainly not disappointed. We stayed in the mignonette room which was situated up in the eaves and took advantage of the half-board option which provided both breakfast and dinner included in the cost. As well as being a good... More

On a quick three day hop after a business trip in London, just wanted to grab a quick reservation and spend some time in Normandy. From the moment we arrived, everything was simply perfect. A lovely restored farmouse, and the neighboring manner are flawlessly, painstakingly, yet not frivolously done. We ended up staying in both a room in the Ferme, as... More
