Stayed here as a base to explore the Normandy beaches. Excellent hotel with quality accommodation and wonderful regional cuisine. A pool would have been nice. Stayed in their 'other' hotel in the same village and walked here for main meal. Pleasant evening constitutional.

This is exactly what we were hoping for in a French country inn. The grounds are extremely warm and inviting. The staff was wonderful and the food outstanding. I travel a ton; well over 2,000 nights in hotels. This is in my top 3. It's very convenient to the Normandy coast, and all that it has to offer. Also an... More

The epitome of the traditional manor house. We had a beautifully appointed suite overlooking the courtyard. Climbing the stairs with heavy luggage was not easy but has to be expected. Pre dinner drinks were taken under the welcome shade of large umbrellas and followed by a wonderfully presented dinner in the restaurant. Our only very minor gripe was the absence... More

Like so many other reviews have stated this hotel is an ideal location for visiting the WW2 beaches and monuments and I do not think I can add anything new. It is comforting after a day sightseeing to return, freshen up and enjoy an aperitif before a good diner. We stayed in the farmhouse which is a short walk from... More

We had a beautiful room in the sister hotel down the road, but went to the main hotel for dinner. We felt that the dining experience was for the benefit of the hotel rather than the guests. We arrived at the dining room and were asked if we wanted an aperitif in the garden adjoining the dining room. We said... More

This is a large hotel set in an old farm manor. It has been tastefully renovated and operates with the efficiency of a Swiss watch. The service is quiet attentive and unobtrusive. The rooms vary in size, we had a junior suite and it was spacious with a desk and seating area, large comfortable bed plus a day bed and... More

Beautiful quality meals. Excellent and friendly evening service. Abrupt, regimented and unhelpful breakfast staff. Rooms very clean and unique with a lot of period character. I had room 14 which smelt like a sewer in the mornings. Closing the plug holes and toilet lid helped this problem. I would certainly recommend this hotel for the tranquility, gardens, character and evening... More

This beautiful old hotel is well worth considering. Our room was in the main building, first floor at the back - extremely comfortable and very quiet. There's free wi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities, unusual in many French hotels. Reception staff speak excellent English, as do some of the waiting staff. Breakfast was lovely, a good selection of meats... More

This ancient farmhouse is the ideal place to start the discovery of the landing beaches in Normandy. The rooms are very nicely decorated, and you are provided with anything you need. The restaurant offers delicious food. Breakfast is rather big (certainly to French standards). When the weather is nice you can enjoy a drink on the terrace which is situated... More

A very restful place to stay with character and charm but do heed a couple of guidelines. The rooms in the main farm building are well decorated and very comfortable, renovated in a style fitting to the 13-15th century farm house building. Fantastic showers too. Be sure to get the right size room though - you couldn't swing a cat... More
