We stayed here for 3 nights in August, and I cannot say enough about the warm hospitality - and wonderful, inspired meals - of Elisabeth and Jean Pierre. We were welcomed after a long drive from Paris; the location was perfectly secluded, and the gardens and view from the terrace were absolutely beautiful. Our room was very clean and comfortable,... the location is magnificent. it was peaceful, serene with the most marvellous sunsets. The owners ran the establishment with attention to every detail. They are charming and very welcoming. Our room was perfect. The dining terrace was idyllic and the swimming pool most inviting. the owner is the most accomplished chef and the food was magnificent. Elisabeth, his wife ,... More

Last September we returned to Villa Ric for a second visit. We were not disappointed. M Ric remembered us from our last visit and we had the same lovely room. The hotel was exactly the same as our last visit - spotless, good food, and the owners were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them and this time... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a very nice and tranquil setting and the pool area and gardens are lovely. The highlight of our visit though were the beautiful dinners prepared by Jean Pierre and served by Elisabeth who also recommended the wines. Great hospitality!

Over 30 years travelling in France I think this is the best hotel we ever stayed in. Thank you Elizabeth and JP for a great 5 day stay. The cuisine inventive and imaginative, the lovely pool and garden, the wonderful sunsets from the dining terrace, and the obvious friendly enthusiasm and welcome from the owners.

We were welcomed by the chef proprietor who carried our cases to our room. It was lovely, spacious and comfortable with sofa, table and chairs. We spent four nights here and were asked every day what we would like to eat for dinner. One evening we had prawns followed by roast duck and then strawberries. Another night we decided we'd... This family run hotel was very welcoming, clean, & comfortable. The chef owner & his wife provided varied substantial tasty meals. Highly recommended, an excellent retreat. St Cere is a lovely old town with an excellent market.

We needed a place to stay for a trip from Paris to the south west of France (with a stop over in Rocamadour). We have chosen the Villa Ric based on a recommendation of a hotel owner in Rocamadour as all the hotels were fully booked in Rocamadour. And this was good as it allowed us to discover this wonderful... More

We chose this hotel for the location - we needed a half-way stop for 1 night on the way down south. We were amazed to find that we had discovered a really wonderful hotel which was outstanding in every way. The location really is fabulous with stunning views, a huge pool in the lovely gardens, and delightful, comfortable rooms. But... More

The Villa Ric is a superb hotel in a beautiful setting, with lovely views. The hotel and its gardens are immaculately kept by the owners, Jean-Pierre and Elisabeth Ric, who are very welcoming and friendly. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and pristine clean. We enjoyed every meal , starting with drinks on the terrace, and continuing with Jean-Pierre's interesting... More
