The location was in a small nice village and the hotel outside was ok. the communal spaces were fine but the rooms were in poor - very poor conditions. I felt more being in a hospital rather than a hotel. If the price of the room was at below 100 euro, it could have been acceptable (although still poor interior... More

Back to the past... Here is a very romantic place in a historic setting. Went here for several times, either for professional conventions or for a short break. Always perfect. High level restauration. Comfortable rooms, old of course, but all what you may need is here.

The hotel is nice with rich history and the charm of the old days. Staffs were nice. The restaurant is very good too. However, the sauna concept is weird and we have to pay for swimming pool. The village surrounding and nearby attraction is good to spend 1 or 2 days.

Though a bit of a walk - parking was provided. Served Excellent food as part of wedding reception - everything from the cocktails to the dinner and dessert were excellent- the lamb was especially amazing. When we first arrived our wing lost electricity but it was fixed by the time we got back to room

This is quite a special if rather unusual place - it is in part of what was a huge quasi-military academy in what was originally an abbey. Founded in the 18th century, it wasn't finally closed until 1991. The hotel occupies part of the original building, a museum another part and there is a training academy run by a pharmaceutical... I stayed here for a conference in the hotel, so maybe my view is different from the usual guests, but it's charm is its olde worlde atmosphere, in a modern setting. The park is wonderful, though I never got a lot of time to explore it, but my room, a traditional one (once a monk's cell) was rather small for... More

Being in Soreze abbey as a guest reminds you the history of their corridors. It's a fantastic way of combining calm and loneliness in a spot which was the education center of the ancien high class's children.

We stayed here for a friends wedding. Great room, great food, good service, lovely grounds, friendly staff, lovely village. Not much to do but relax, perfect. Soreze is idyllic and plenty to do if you drive around. Lovely lake nearby and a great car boot sale once a year that we went to. Huge. Great country fayre and we are... More

This is a magical place. A historical building with a heart. Lovely and warm for such a large old and relatively unmodernised building, We go here every year in the winter and the children love the heated indoor pool. This place is charming and has been decorated with taste and a style which is sympathetic to the building. I totally... More
