L'Oustal del Barry delivers as a cozy and charming county inn with an attractive dining room serving high quality cuisine. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. We had a memorable dinner here. It is a nice place to stay at the top center of this scenic town.

The staff were kind and always helpful. The food was excellent in their restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The location was perfect. Our bathroom was small, but that cannot be helped in lodging in an historic building. We loved Najac!

This small hotel is really the only place to stay in Najac – a tiny town in the middle of nowhere with a brilliant fortress. The room was comfortable and cheap although I didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t adjust the airconditioning – it was really only a fan and since it was 36 degrees a real airconditioner would... Lovely quaint hotel in the most amazing position in the delightful square in Najac. The food was fantastic. I've tried to find the recipe for the lamb dish I ate here and haven't managed it yet. I'm guessing it was an innovative recipe by the chef. The room we had had views over the valley and watching the distant trains... More

This hotel is in a superb location. The village is charming and we had a stunning view from our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was superb. The downside is that the rooms, though clean and adequately comfortable, are in need of updating. The first room we were shown was very dark and did not... More

We chose this hotel as the food was highly recommended by friends. We just stayed the one night and the dinner did not disappoint. We ate from the set menu (32 euros for 3 courses + coffee): everything was beautifully presented and utterly delicious. My partner is a picky eater but was delighted by his soupe de poissons, navarin of... More

Had to change from fly infested Room 21 to small double - no sign of a price reduction. Upstairs the hotel is in need of renovation - the false ceiling on second floor is falling apart. In contrast the restaurant serves good quality food, albeit a little pretentious. Waitresses must be sick of food on flat slates which are impossible... More

Sir, Thank you for this review. For the problem to your arrival, and strong and unpleasant, my assistant apologized and you changed rooms immediately. Najac, is a small town close to the countryside ... For service, the slates are hard to carry but the job is changing with changes in presentation of material ... fads ... but I understand that... The hotel is set in a beautiful village which was lovely to explore. The hotel was very comfortable with friendly staff but what makes it really stand out is the food which was excellent we really enjoyed our dinner in lovely surroundings served by a very helpful waitress I would recommend dining at this hotel if you are staying nearby

I have stayed in the past and found it very comfortable in a shabby chic way but I write to talk about the food. Najac is a beautiful historic French village with an ancient castle. We were a family of 7 and ate al fresco. The welcome was warm and the service very good. The menus were varied and interesting and... More

Had heard from friends what a beautiful village Najac is, so asked for an overnight stay for my birthday, en route to our holiday destination near Albi. Landed in Rodez and were in Najac in approx. 1hour 40 mins. First impression was of an attractive main street, each side featuring a variety of quaint roofing. A stroll later on revealed... More
