The food, service and accomodations far exceeded in standars the rack rate paid. Situated in a small southern France village surrounded by beautiful countryside and vineyards, this converted winery is a total joy. The proprietors are up-beat, friendly, professional and very helpful. The restoration of the building is elegant. Draw back: no public transportation, (bus or train) to village but... more

David, Graham and Wendy and Butch could not have done more to make our two week vaction at Le Domaine better than it was. We both rested and had one of the best holiday experiences of our lives in this top grade private hotel. Choose to sit by the pool and read, take drives into the countryside to visit spectacular... more

We booked Le Domaine aux Quat'Saisons based on the Trip Advisor comments. We were not disappointed - the house and gardens are amazing. Really loved the stylish and comfortable rooms. The 'wow factor' is Graeme and David's sincere hospitality (and their gorgeous dogs!) A relaxing breakfast on the terrace overlooking the garden is a wonderful start to the day. Do... more

This place is amazing. As soon as you enter the beautiful house, you enter the perfect world of relaxation and tranquility. You are surrounded by superb antique furniture, great books, spotlessly clean and luxurious bedrooms, it is the most wonderful BnB I have ever stayed in. The owners have that rare gift of hospitality. We went for two nights and... more

We recently came back to Vancouver from our first visit to the Languedoc in France, and from a 3 night stay at Le Domaine. I have to say this is the best hotel experience I have had in a long time and I travel a lot and am pretty fussy particularly about aesthetics, and food and hosts. What makes the... more

An absolute cracker. We live 'up the road' near Toulouse and had our holiday in the Minervois, spending our last couple of nights here. It's just lovely. The dachsunds are so friendly and each have their own characters, you're bound to have a favourite by the end of your stay. The garden is fascinating for a walk round, particularly in... more

I would like to thank Graeme and David for a wonderful stay at the Domaine aux Quat Saisons last summer. The house itself was a work of art, with every room immaculately decorated, and the stunning gardens and pool. The food was superb and every meal was freshly cooked and made with locally grown produce. The village was beautiful, and... more

Re-visiting a hotel that you have previously enjoyed is nearly always a dissappointment when you compare it with your earlier visit. This is the gem that breaks that rule! In September 2005, we booked for two days and stayed for two weeks. We made three further visits in 2006! It just gets better and better. Le Domain aux Quat' Saisons... more

This is a beautiful, peaceful place that has been carefully restored by David and Graeme. Visit and you can’t help but come away with a warm smile on your face. Two families (4 parents and a 14, 18, 20 and 21 year old) needed a holiday and after a search on the Internet I came across Le Maison aux Quat’... more

Travelling during the hullabaloo that was mid August in the UK, we were delighted to land at Carcassonne, small and bijoux and find that the Domaine was less then 25 minutes away. On arrival we were immediately transported into the world of Merchant Ivory. The rooms took you back to a century once lived and the ambience was sometyhing all... more
