We stopped here for just one night on our way south. We had a room right at the back (9 bis) which opened directly onto a little terrace, right next to the hotel's own vineyard. There are tables for sitting out, so we played cribbage, ate our supper, drank a bottle of the local wine, and watched the sun go... More

Selected the hotel because I know the wine estate it is attached to. It was also well located on our holiday route. The rooms are large (we were three) and well equipped. The bathrooms are clean and the showers have a nice mosaik floor. The breakfast is very good, and you will be watched by the Golden Retriever Raoul. The... More

We've being staying here for several years when we are attending dinners in the Chateau of Clos de Vougeot. It is the ultimate B & B, because if you want a cold supper it's superb. For those who like dogs, Raoul is lovely, he's almost the Maitre d'! The rooms are very comfortable and go from medium to large. Ask... More

We stayed for two nights on our way south and were so pleased that we chose this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and certainly spacious. Breakfast was excellent, the only problem being that we probably ate too much of the delicious local cheese. We felt well looked after and will certainly return again when in the area next. We enjoyed... More

We have stopped overnight here on numerous occasions on our way to the South of France but this time booked for two nights and still we were reluctant to leave. The location amongst the Grand Cru vineyard is stunning with rows and rows of pristine vines to the rear of the property yet with very easy access to major road... More

We loved this place - arrived late but a member of staff waiting for us with a late supper which we ate outside overlooking the vineyards. Very rustic and charming bedroom with fantastic views - so peaceful. Breakfast served in a pretty dining area - full buffet with lovely local fresh produce. From the dining room is the cellar where... More

Lovely place to stay half way down France, on route to the south. Clean well appointed. Sat on the rear terrace with a selection of wines & a picnic made by the hotel of local produce. There is the opportunity to buy wine from great vineyards in the area

We stayed in the Hotel for one night on our way down to the south of France. We booked a family room which was spacious and very comfortable. It was in a lovely quiet setting right next to the vines of Burgundy. We didn't have breakfast but it seemed popular when we were checking out.

We were disappointed at Chateau de Gilly and decided to look elsewhere for breakfast. We discovered that the back garden terrace at hotel de Vougeot is by the vineyards. We inquired and were offered charming and efficient hospitality and service. We enjoyed the same the second day and got the typical French breakfast with coffee, hot milk, bread and butter,... More

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived at this Hotel. Our room was basic but it had a rustic charm about it and overlooked the vineyards. Very spacious and basically clean. Sunny room and we could open the windows and let the sun in. Very quiet with comfy beds. Breakfast lovely in a "cave" like setting. Had an... More
