On a family recommendation and personal research choose this hotel for its central position on the wine road. The owner speaks English and so do some of the staff. Excellent restaurant with English menu. Very good food. Continental Breakfast included. Room fantastic but no tea/coffee in room but hair dryer supplied. Surroundings fantastic. Staff very helpful. Small swimming pool available.... More

We dined twice at this restaurant through necessity, as we stayed at the nearby Hotel de Vougeot (which doesn't have a restaurant) and basically it is the 'only show in town' so one gets the feeling that the lack of competition means that there is a certain amount of resting on ones laurels. There is nothing drastically bad with the... More

I had just driven from Amsterdam so my brain was still running at 135k per hour. It really didn't take long to relax in this very pretty hotel. The room was in the courtyard and was spacious and clean. Unfortunately it was a Monday evening and the restaurant was closed but the owner had a reservation for us in what... More

Long trip through France, so we over-nighted at the Le Clos De La Vouge. Big sprawling wedding/business convention type hotel, just off the main road. Good for vineyards if you are into them. Breakfast was OK and we ate in the restaurant the night before, which was quite good. It served our purpose well. The room was large, clean and... More

We had booked the hotel online, having chosen it for its location and lovely photos online. Although a little difficult to locate (we were assisted by a lovely, helpful French couple enjoying an evening stroll who could not do enough to direct us correctly to our destination), we were not disappointed by what we found upon arrival. Infact, we were... More

Le Clos de La Vouge is a very nice hotel located close the the autoroute and in the middle of the vineyards. We had a very nice room and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel's restaurant. We liked the hotel so much that we are planning on using it as a base to explore the Bourgogne region for a... More

We first had lunch at Le Clos de la Vouge several years ago, and when we returned in April and May of 2012 we were delighted to see that the place is still great. The restaurant is located in a skillfully-updated old building next to a small stream and millrace; some tables are available out front, in good weather, and... More

We have stayed here twice on route to the south of france as the location is excellent for an overnight stop. It's set in a small village with a stream running next to it and a water mill - opposite is an artisan boulangerie, very peaceful, relaxing and charming. The 3 rooms that we have seen or stayed in are... More

We stopped for one night at Le Clos de la Vouge in July, having rejected a hotel we had booked just a few miles away. Fortunately Le Clos had one room left which we took instantly, having stayed here before. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the rooms a bit quirky but very clean and with all necessary facilities and... More
