This was the base for eight of us touring Burgundy by bike. The rooms were modern. There was a great swimming pool. The manager could not have been more helpful or accommodating. They had a much more than adequate wine celllar. The little town around it was quite charming

The hotel is easy to locate, being right off the D974, the main road through the Côte d'Or. It is short walk to the Chateau Clos de Vougeot. The Vouge in the hotel name is name of a small river that runs by the hotel. The hotel is very attractive, with lots of flowers. It has on site parking. There... More

This is a small family owned hotel and restaurant in an attractive location. The 31 Euro menu was very good value and the food ample, hot and enjoyable. The staff were pleasant and efficient and we had a very good meal and evening, we just wish we had thought to stay here as well!

This is certainly one of the prettiest hotels I have stayed in in France- the place is covered in well maintained flowers. The rooms are attractive and reasonably spacious with a substantial en suite (2 wash basins, a walk in shower and a WC). There is no air conditioning but a large fan can deal with all except, I suspect,... More

On a family recommendation and personal research choose this hotel for its central position on the wine road. The owner speaks English and so do some of the staff. Excellent restaurant with English menu. Very good food. Continental Breakfast included. Room fantastic but no tea/coffee in room but hair dryer supplied. Surroundings fantastic. Staff very helpful. Small swimming pool available.... More

We dined twice at this restaurant through necessity, as we stayed at the nearby Hotel de Vougeot (which doesn't have a restaurant) and basically it is the 'only show in town' so one gets the feeling that the lack of competition means that there is a certain amount of resting on ones laurels. There is nothing drastically bad with the... More

I had just driven from Amsterdam so my brain was still running at 135k per hour. It really didn't take long to relax in this very pretty hotel. The room was in the courtyard and was spacious and clean. Unfortunately it was a Monday evening and the restaurant was closed but the owner had a reservation for us in what... More

Long trip through France, so we over-nighted at the Le Clos De La Vouge. Big sprawling wedding/business convention type hotel, just off the main road. Good for vineyards if you are into them. Breakfast was OK and we ate in the restaurant the night before, which was quite good. It served our purpose well. The room was large, clean and... More

We had booked the hotel online, having chosen it for its location and lovely photos online. Although a little difficult to locate (we were assisted by a lovely, helpful French couple enjoying an evening stroll who could not do enough to direct us correctly to our destination), we were not disappointed by what we found upon arrival. Infact, we were... More

Le Clos de La Vouge is a very nice hotel located close the the autoroute and in the middle of the vineyards. We had a very nice room and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel's restaurant. We liked the hotel so much that we are planning on using it as a base to explore the Bourgogne region for a... More
