This is one of the best bed and breakfast / chambres d'hotes that we have ever stayed in. The owner was very welcoming when we arrived late in the evening and the family room (in fact two rooms and a bathroom) was well furnished and very clean. Breakfast, usually consumed between 9 and 11 was leisurely with an amazing spread... More

The location is beyond excellent. We were on our way to the south and stopped here halfway. When you enter the domaine, you'll imagine yourself in a many centuries old decor. A very old stately home with annexes. When you meet the owner, you'll feel at home already. She was very very friendly to us and showed us several rooms... More

We arrived at 5.00 after travelling 6 hours. The owner eventually appeared looking very dishevelled and didn't seem to be expecting us. We wanted a hot bath to find the boiler had broken and there was no hot water. OK old houses have their problems but there was no apology. We felt very unwelcome and will not be going back.

The hotel consists of a castle-like big villa, plus additional buildings in a very beautiful park. Our room ("Natasha") was huge, with a large bathroom. The interior of the hotel and the rooms is very classic and in a good shape. The service, performed by the owners of the site, is very family like and kind. The breakfast was great.... More

I arrived late but the lady on front desk kindly stayed up so we could check in. The room was clean and fairly pretty, but excellent value for money. It also seemed touch more personal than most, with a note on the bedspread politely asking us not to trmaple it underfoot - I prefer this approach than that they don't... More

The setting for this hotel is wonderful and the approach to it is amazing. We chose this hotel as it was typically French, in a village and had a pool. We were travelling around the area for 1 week and had decided to treat ourselves to a stay at this hotel, which ended up being the most expensive of the... More

We staid in the room Olivia which is perfect for a family, but we also visited the other rooms of the castle (because it is really a castle with beautifull halls and a splendid garden). The furnitures are fantastic. We took our breakfast in the balsony in front of the garden enjoying the jams, fromages and cakes. We really suggest... More

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here on the way to Paris, from the South of France, if only for one night. I must admit the towns of Sennecy and the nearby Tournus are a little weird, however, you will have no problem finding a Michelin rated restaurnt in Tournus. We arrived around 6pm, quite tired and did... More

We stayed here one night en route from Paris to Switzerland. We had a very large comfortable room for two adults and one child on an upper floor that had a remodeled bathroom. The room was very quiet. We had the breakfast outside on the terrace. While the food was ok, the setting was great, as was the service by... More
