One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, the room was absolutely beautiful - lots of character (even the cheaper one we got for the kids has lots of character). Great food in the restaurant next door.

My Wife and I stayed here 2 nights as part of a touring holiday.Things got off to a bad start when they had no record of my booking despite the fact I had a written confirmation from booking.com.They were very apologetic and offered an upgrade to a superior room. And what an odd room it was.Very large with the bathroom completely... This is an old inn absolutely full of antiques , old farm implements , kitchenalia etc . Even the TVs in the rooms are hidden in " old " sewing machine covers standing on genuinely old treadle tables . the rooms are all on different levels up various little windy staircases ; we had two rooms up our own stairs... My wife and I stayed at this auberge for one night only. It was a brithday present for my wife along with a visit to Noyers, Chablis and a tour around the various wine domaines. We live in the Nievre department of Burgundy, only a 90 minute drive away but we wanted to spoil ourselves and we certainly did. This... More

On our way south to Switzerland we came across this hotel only 140 miles south of Paris. It was a fantastic find. All of the staff were polite and friendly nothing was to much bother. The room was exceptional and very large. We eat in the restaurant in the evening again excellent food and service. The breakfast in the morning... More

What a wonderful place to stay on travels. There is a variety of accommodation with beautifully appointed rooms, well decorated and with necessary amenities. The staff were very helpful and considerate. Breakfast was enjoyable and plentiful. Internet was a little unpredictable but it worked and was free.

In July and August 2012, my wife, three children, and I spent nearly five weeks in France and Switzerland whilst I was on sabbatical. This lovely place was a one-night stopover in Burgundy as we travelled between a week in Paris and a week in Provence. It was truly lovely and child-friendly. The rooms were unique, charming, somewhat rustic but... More

We returned to La Beursaudière for the 3rd time and always pleased Charming rooms with the theme of a country farm. Excellent restaurant; staff always smiling, attentive & most helpful. Superior Breakfast offerings in a most relaxing atmosphere.

Stayed two nights with friends. Le Vigneron and Le Meunier rooms...spacious, well equipped. Many unconventional elements that make the hotel far more characterful and interesting than most. Owned by same family for over 30 years and they obviously work hard to ensure that their guests are welcome and comfortable. Serge (the owner) speaks very good English...he claims to have learnt... We can only repeat what others have said - this is a really charming rustic hotel with an excellent restaurant. We stayed here three nights over Easter, using it as a base to visit the surrounding towns and villages. Serge, the proprietaire, had some great suggestions for scenic routes and places not to miss. We stayed in Le Galvacher on... More
