Went late at night, about 10pm, on a business trip. Decor really old style with slightly spooky dolls hanging from the walls and waiters in black with red foulard. Starter of scallops and prawns was good if not memorable, yet the main, sweetbreads cooked in Marc, were exceptional, best ever, light but filling and cooked to perfection! French know how... More

This hotel is located in a small wine town in Burgundy region. The rooms are very comfortable and is in a quaint setting. The hotel restaurant was excellent, we had the 3 course dinner and every course was exceptional, this restaurant is in the Michelin guide too. The breakfast served was also great with home made jams and pastries. Great... More

Wow! What a wonderful little gem just in the middle of nowhere.... From the outside one can see a nice restaurant but to catch sight of a special hotel is impossible ,only gray wall...But you enter inside and you're breathless ...an amazing beauty. They have private close parking too with lots of places . It's a former monk's farm remarkably... More

Thank you for your comment, the feeling you had describes exactly the atmosphere we have wanted to create... for your pleasure ... As we said we are in the middle of nowhere but on the road of everywhere, and so close to the A6 motorway exit N° 21 (in the village, less than 1km) With my best regards Serge More

We have been looking for a great hotel near Chablis for the past few years and have never really found anything that we really liked but, with our stay at La Beursaudiere, our quest is over. There are many other reviews that extol the virtues of the Auberge so repeating the sympathies of these is somewhat redundant. La Beursuadiere is... More

A quaint and well fashioned auberge from what was an old monastery. Very convenient for the autoroute and for visitors to the Chablis region. A secure car park is available. The rooms are off a cloistered courtyard which is decorated with old artefacts and very peaceful. The room we had (The Vigneron) was spacious and, as with the rest of... More

We arrived through country roads from Troyes. What a great drive! Small villages, farmlands and forests. All beautiful and the hotel fits in real good with these beautiful surroundings. Room is big enough in a lovely building. Although the price including breakfast is somewhat high. 300 meters from the hotel you can buy Chablis wine direct from the farmer. And... More

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, the room was absolutely beautiful - lots of character (even the cheaper one we got for the kids has lots of character). Great food in the restaurant next door.

My Wife and I stayed here 2 nights as part of a touring holiday.Things got off to a bad start when they had no record of my booking despite the fact I had a written confirmation from booking.com.They were very apologetic and offered an upgrade to a superior room. And what an odd room it was.Very large with the bathroom completely... Thank you for your honest comment, OK for the room, but most of the people who use it loves the ambiance and the charm, most of the English says "Cosy room" Concerning the Restaurant, I think you are too rude, and what do you call extremities ? Hopefully you had no Snails and no "Andouillette" or Frog legs, as you... More

This is an old inn absolutely full of antiques , old farm implements , kitchenalia etc . Even the TVs in the rooms are hidden in " old " sewing machine covers standing on genuinely old treadle tables . the rooms are all on different levels up various little windy staircases ; we had two rooms up our own stairs... My wife and I stayed at this auberge for one night only. It was a brithday present for my wife along with a visit to Noyers, Chablis and a tour around the various wine domaines. We live in the Nievre department of Burgundy, only a 90 minute drive away but we wanted to spoil ourselves and we certainly did. This... More
