We have just returned from our fifth holiday at this magnificent hotel. The Grand Hotel des Bains (GHdB) has everything to satisfy. It is a unique reminder of how to cosset and satisfy one's every sense. An old fashioned hotel certainly but retaining so much of what has been lost from the industry, absorbed into anonymous chains. The setting of... More

Twenty years ago this hotel, which is in a great location, could justly have claimed to be one of the best in the area. Sadly it has been in a time warp ever since with little discernible improvement in the fabric and aloof staff with pretensions of another era. The dining room looks great however it seemed to get little... More

Thank you for your review, and we're so sorry to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations. We're really glad that you enjoyed our Brasserie, and we'll have a look at the two menus to see what we can learn from the Brasserie menu. Best wishes More

I must have stayed in two hundred hotels in the last few years. This may be may favourite. I last stayed there with two writer friends for a week over New Year 2014/15. The three of us wrote for part of the day, went for long walks on the wild Brittany beaches, ate simple but delicious fishy lunches in the... More

I stayed for 2 nights at the Grand Hotel des Bains in the middle of July. The location is surely great, but the hotel need to be refurbished, in particular the rooms. In our room both minibar and safe were missing, the entrance key was "old-style" as well as the small wire to raise the curtains. Furthermore the TV didn't work... More

We spent 6 nights here and found the whole experience very enjoyable. The location is beautiful and the staff extremely courteous and discreet. The treatment rooms are very private and the additional swimming pool, sauna and Hammam (I want one!) completely recharged us. The hotel also owns the local 'Brasserie de la Plage' (3 minutes walk away) which proved to... More

A find, an amazing hotel by the sea, always a view, providing wonderful accommodation and restaurant, no disappointments here. The Local village of Locquirec a few 100meters walk with excellent Bistro good for lunch by the beach, and worth a mention the local ice cream and crepes parlour.

Not good value for money, room just OK for the price tag, view stunning , floor sloping & felt as if we were tiddly but certainly couldn't have afforded to even breath in the fumes from the bar at theses prices !!! Restaurant at hotel very expensive. Has the definite feel of a retirement home, not suitable if you're under... More

We spent two nights here to celebrate my husband's birthday. The room we had overlooked the garden and sea with a tiny balcony. February is not the best time to go away but the sun shone for us despite dreadful flooding in UK and France. There was only one other couple staying at the hotel so the pool and spa... More

We absolutely loved at stay here. The rooms are nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. Not the biggest but comfortable nonetheless. We would recommend taking a sea facing room. However, the highlight for us was eating in the restaurant each evening. We tend to avoid hotel restaurants but I think one of the reasons for coming here is the food. We... More
