This place is a Gem, the rooms are large with large well appointed bathrooms, the owners could not be more helpful. The place is set in it's own grounds with really nice views. The place is very informal and there is an honesty bar and free tea/coffee making facilities in the lounge. We would stay again for sure.

Everything is there to give you a 'chateau' feeling....huge reception hall, large room with fireplaces, Windows with Inside and outside shutters..etc.fantastic B&B...the host are gracious and wellcoming; of couse the glass of Chateau Julie wine in the Library really puts you into the mood. The room and Customer areas were very clean. The reason for a 4 rating instead of... More

We visited this hotel in April 2013 during our trip to France. The hotel is situated in the heart of Bordeau region and represents a chateau with a wineyard. It is one of the best hotels I've ever visited! The breakfast was served in a large room at a large dining table together with other guests. This chateau produces wine,... More

Having just arrived home from our 5 week European family holiday with my wife and two girls, aged 15& 17, we had a wonderful 3 night stay at Chateau Julie . The Chateau was centrally located for us to visit Bordeaux, the Medoc region & St Emillion on various days, it is well presented throughout, the bedrooms are comfotable and... More

We only stayed for one night,en route to our main holiday. It is really lovely. The chateau reflects it's age but in a lovely way. I would have given 5 stars except the bedroom carpet was quite stained. The bathroom was delightful. Lovely towels, soaps etc. very comfy bed. We had the hosts evening meal and it was really delicious.... More

This was the first time that we have stayed here, but it won't be the last! It is better than excellent. Rinse and Renee are delightful. The room we had on the first floor was large, very clean and with a sizeable en-suite - a bath and a very good, separate shower, which was nice. The evening meal, especially on the... More

First, very friendly Dutch couple running this chateau. The food is excellent. You have to pre book the dinner. The dinner include the drinks followed by 3 courses meal which is very good price €25 but not so sure if this is variable. The bedrooms are sufficient size and very clean. Very peaceful place. You meet interesting guest all over... More

My husband and our two close friends spent four magical nights in this amazing chateau. Rinse and Renee made us feel very welcome and were the perfect hosts. Our rooms were very spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was extremely tasty and generous as was the beautiful dinner they served us in the garden. We would thoroughly recommend this... Good location close to autoroute.. Nice house and reasonably priced meal. Large comfotable room but we were very disappointed that the show cubicle had black mould on it. But for that would have given it a very good rating

As you can see from other reviews this place really is truly special, it manages to capture not just the standards of a high class hotel but a home, with Rinse and Renee really great hosts, we stayed for two nights and booked the evening meal for both nights, my wife who is a real foodie fan thought Rinse cooking...
