We found this an excellent Chambre d'hôte, in the perfect location between Sarlat and Les Eyzies for exploring the Dordogne. Set in sizeable grounds in a peaceful location just outside Meyrals it has a pool and plenty of lounging places - and shade . We certainly felt at home and settled in quickly, appreciating the warm and helpful hospitality of... More

A big thank you to Jean-Pierre and Florence for being the perfect hosts. A special little something home baked by Florence accompanied each breakfast, a special touch. The surroundings are tranquil and immaculately kept. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Jean-Pierre couldn't have been more helpful with advice on what/where to visit, and even the best place to park! We... More

Stayed for a week in J ne in the Tower Room on the first floor overlooking the pool. The initial welcome was excellent with drinks provided and lots of information about the local area. The room and bed was very nice and comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was also a kitchen/dining room with fridge, microwave and hob and seating both... More

When our vacation plans changed due to the illness of the French friend we were supposed to stay with, we were lucky to find Les Feuillantines. Located in the peaceful countryside near Saint Cyprien, it was very convenient to all the attractions in the Dordogne Valley. Florence's breakfasts were excellent, with a little something special each morning. My husband and... More

We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed the hosptality and silence (garden with large trees) a lot. We felt like at home the minute we arrived, especially with Florence's great breakfast on the terrace and all the advice on sightseeing and hiking trails both Jean-Pierre and Florence gave us. That's all one wishes for during a relaxing vacation. Thanks a... More

Excellent location for exploring the Dordogne! We stayed here for four days and enjoyed every minute. The property is beautiful, Florence and Jean-Pierre were exceptionally hospitable, and the location is ideal for getting to the nearby villages. We would highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Feuillantines. Florence and Jean-Pierre are a very friendly and helpful couple and we felt very welcome in their house. Every morning before we went down to breakfast we'd be wondering what special treat was in store - and we had a different one each of the five mornings - delicious! There is so... More

Florence and Jean-Pierre are the best hosts hosts we've ever had--friendly, informative, and dedicated to their guests. They steered us away from some Dordogne attractions in favor of others they thought were more interesting.Their knowledge of the region is amazing. On their advice, we took a boat ride that provided views of several chateaus, hit all of the nearby market... More

Les Feuillantines fully lived up to expectations, from the excellent breakfast to the friendly and very helpful guidance offered by our hosts, who speak good English as well as French - though I must say, one of the pleasures was Jean-Pierre's interesting historical account (in French, at my request) of some local place- and family names. He is an enthusiast... More

This proved to be a delightful place to stay. Our hosts were welcoming. Their house is lovely and our room comfortable and well equipped. The use of kitchen facilities, mainly for preparation of salads, was welcome. We liked the covered patio area where we ate, the use of the swimming pool and the opportunities to sit in the shady garden. The... More
