We visited here last year and loved it, so had to return. Our 3yr old son loved the open space to run in, he made some lovely friends during our stay including Alice (who lives there) and we loved watching the chickens, listening to the cockerel and feeding the guinea pig. The pool was lovely and clean, safely fenced off... More

We spent a wonderful 10 days at le Chevrefeuille in July this year. We were trying to find a holiday that would work for us all: a family of four with a teenager and tween and this suited us perfectly. I got to chill out, sit about and read my books and explore the Dordogne, my husband could get on... More

We felt very much at home in this beautiful rural retreat, with plenty of safe ground for children to run around on, plus a large swimming pool. Very warm hospitality, family friendly, with English speaking hosts. Ian cooked a dinner for all guests whilst we were there, plus a BBQ on another evening. Nothing was too much trouble for Sara,... As soon as we arrived we knew from Sara's introduction and welcome that we had made a good decision for our week away. The gite was perfect - clean, modern appliances and really comfortable. A lovely terrace with BBQ overlooking the gardens where our three year old boy had a great time playing with Adam and Alice (hosts' lovely children).... More

My wife and I spent 2 nights at this B&B. Ideal location to get to the caves (just 4km down the road). Grounds are family-friendly and very tastefully decorated. Setting is in the country-side. Hosts are English speakers. Dinner was extra 33Euro/pp but very delicious and creative 5-course meal. Sara was very attentive to customer needs and very thoughtful, too.... More

I have recently returned from a weeks holiday at Le Chevrefeuille and would like to thank and congratulate Ian and Sara on creating such a wonderful place. I stayed with friends in the Grapevine gite which was ideal for 3 adults. My friends (husband and wife) had the main building and I stayed in the adjoining annex. The facilities are... More

After being moved on from our original accommodation by a ferocious gang of dust mites, we felt we’d landed in heaven when we arrived at Le Chevrefeuille. We were concerned this B&B would be over-run with children (after reading so many reviews saying how great it is for kids), but that wasn’t the case at all. The owners have created... More

We've just had a splendid week at Le Chevrefeuille staying in the Grapevine cottage and annex, a really good choice for three adults, my wife and I in the cottage and our friend in the annex, a self contained unit adjoining the main cottage. Thee basics are spot on and the set-up is really good, very easy to step into... More

After much research, we decided to spend the last three days of our France summer vacation at Le Chevrefeuille…and are we glad we did. It was without question the most wonderful and memorable experience of our entire trip. From the perfect location in the Dordogne region to the most gracious and talented hosts, Ian and Sara, this is an absolute... More

My friend and I recently stayed a week with Sara and Ian at their delightful establishment, we are both from Australia and this was my second stay, and will not be my last, I am hoping to come back next year. Our stay was made perfect by wonderful weather, so we were able to use the pool each afternoon and... More
