Thanks Ann for a wonderful stay. We used Chateau Bavolier as a stopover for a couple of nights and it was perfect for us. Champagne on arrival with Ann and plenty of suggestions for places to eat/visit. The room was excellent and extremely large even with four of us in there. Massive garden with swings/slide for the kids to play... More

We stayed at Chateau Bavolier at the beginning of this month, August 2014. The Chateau is absolutely beautiful, straight out of a storybook. Ann's grandchildren greeted us with homemade gifts for our daughter and Ann greeted us with a bottle of Champagne. We felt at home immediately. To my daughter, Ann is "Nana." Ann and her family were so much... More

We stayed here a year ago (I'm a bit delayed in writing my trip advisor reviews!) I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the tripadvisor reviews looked good and the photos on their website seemed like it would be a charming place to stay. My expectations were extremely far surpassed! Ann, the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, from... More

The hostess, owner, Ann Roberts made our experience and stay the very best time. The historic estate is not the easiest to find on the first attempt, but Ann stated in the phone and gave driving directions since it was late evening and waited until we arrived. The suite is a fairy tale room with abundant space, antique furnishings and... More

A warm welcome on arrival with a cup of tea in the sunshine. We had a one night stop over on our way back to the UK. We had the smaller room and our bathroom had a bath, but no overhead shower, just a handheld which was not working when we were there as had recently been broken. Also no... More

We spent a 7 nights B&B at Chateau Bavolier and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Although this was our first visit we felt like old friends with the warmest of champagne greetings on arrival. The Master Suite , which housed us & our 2 daughters, was simply stunning and huge. Breakfasts were plentiful and served in another of the marvellous rooms. The... More

We had a one night stopover with our 3 children. The chateau and surroundings are beautiful and Ann is a naturally wonderful hostess. We were greeted with champagne on arrival and shown our magnificent room with beds made up for the children. We have never stayed in such a beautiful room with en suite sunken bath, in room stereo, lovely... More

Our one-night stay in Chateau Bavolier was lovely. Ann is a gracious host who welcomed us with champagne and shared her fascinating tales of restoring the chateau. We stayed in the Master suite and it was truly enormous and very elegantly-decorated, as is the salon and dining room. Ann also provided a lovely breakfast in the morning. Two things to... More

We chose this as it was a good location for our drive down to Gers in the summer. The building is stunning and the Chateau is light and airy. We had a great welcome from Ann and got some bubbles in the lovely late afternoon sun. She had good musical choices for both dinner and breakfast and was a delight... More
