Luckily this scary place is closed down. It is sad to see that a once high end motel that hosted President Nixon, and all musicians that were playing in the general area, is now an abandened mess inhabited by occasional prostitutes and homeless people...

Bait and switch. It used to be the Days Inn. The property was defunct for a while and someone bought it and decided to pretend that it was still a national hotel chain DAYS INN. This hotel is in a very bad area. Despite the unsafe surroundings the security locks on the outside of the building are missing. The hotel smells bad as soon as you walk in. Hallways very dirty. My friend booked this hotel by phone thinking it was still a nice place, but low and behold it wasn't. In my room the floors were not vaccumed between the beds and we had reserved a room with a micro-fridge and we didn't get one. The hotel is hard to get to. The smell was bad. The continental breakfast was toast and donuts and cereal. If you are going to Michigan Adventure, stay in MEARS.
