Fred and Barb are the ultimate hosts. We had a beautiful weekend at the Port City Victorian Inn. The breakfasts were fantastic. The room was lovely. Their home is incredible. We took their advice and enjoyed the local museum. The restaurants in town were a delight. The winter sports park and luge facility were a blast. Wonderful weekend - thank... More

My daughter and I stayed in Anastasia's room during our visit to attend the Unity Christian Music Festival. It was perfect for us! The home is absolutely lovely and the hosts, Fred and Barbara, are so friendly and gracious! Visiting with the new resident puppies was a definite plus! We look forward to staying at this inn again in 2014!

My boyfriend & I were visiting from Florida. This historic B&B was the perfect night stay for a get-away. I highly suggest the Captain's Room because of its spacious sitting area, jacuzzi tub next to the bed, fireplace and patio. The B&B is not only a gorgeous historic beauty, but it comes with all of the modern commodities one would... More

We so enjoyed our stay at Port City Victorian Inn. Although a single night's stay, Fred and Barbara made us feel like we had been there for longer. Their hospitality and beautiful Inn made for a wonderful evening and morning. It was a wonderful morning of food, new friends and discussion of growing families. A true 'at-home' feeling. We'll be... A gorgeous inn with delightful hosts & truly yummy breakfasts. We enjoyed the little porch off the Captain's Room where we could watch boats in the channel. The ice machine & microwave on the 2nd floor were so convenient & handy. And then there was the gorgeous, large veranda at the end of the hall. Barb gave good tips for... More

We had a lovely stay at PVCI last weekend. Our room was well appointed and clean. The house has several nice balconies and verandas where one can sit and enjoy the sun. The breakfast was delicious and a fun social event--a nice opportunity to meet other guests. We ran into some families that also had kids at Blue Lake Fine... More

We stayed upstairs in a lovely room with a very quaint bathroom. Only 10 minutes to Musekgon beach and about the same to visit the submarine. I loved the house and hearing the history of the area from Fred and normally I don't care about the breakfast part of a B and B. However at $200 a night (with tax)... More

We are sorry for the inconvenience and the embarrassment you experienced. We do not have many vegans or vegetarians guests that stay with us, but the dishes that were set at the table were meant to be passed (family style) and not particularly just for you alone. Your friend asked for oatmeal which was provided for her and scramble eggs... More

All the rooms were very well decorated & so was the whole B&B. Very good taste; you'll love it if you love all that's old. The hosts even went to painstaking efforts to play their player piano. First time I got to enjoy that in my life. The area of Muskegon is very quaint with a nice paved path going... More

All the years that it took to collect and display our antiques was worth it to hear great people like yourselves say that you had a wonderful time and experience while staying at our Inn. Although the player piano has only been here for a couple of years, many of our guest seem to enjoy hearing the old tunes and... More
