Situated in the winefields above the town of Ribeauville, the hotel offers stunning views. The rest is pretty average: Rooms are tired and needs refurbishment, and the restaurant was very average. Its kind of traditional Alsace, but there are better alternatives in the area.

The views and grounds are breathtaking at this Alsatian vineyard gem. We spent a night here and enjoyed a solidly above average dinner (though service was perhaps not always consistent with what you'd expect at a restaurant of comparably high quality). Our room was totally fine, but not really special besides the view. Service was friendly and well-meaning. Value is... More

We've stayed at the hotel for one night at November. The place itself is amazing and located at the middle of a huge vinyard. The scenery is amazing and so was the service. The manager speaks excellent English and let us feel welcomed all the time. He was also glad to book us at the local (AMAZING!) restaurant and to... More

Loved our stay at this absolute gem of a hotel. Literally nestled in the vineyards with amazing views from the breakfast area and rooms throughout. The food is fantastic for breakfast and dinner. Service is warm, friendly, like you are part of the family. Definitely check out the massage chair that is free for all to use. Wi-fi is a... More

This was a weekend getaway to the Alsace wine region, and we made our booking based on previous reviewers comments about this hotel. We were delighted. The multilingual staff are warm and welcoming, and the quality and cleanliness of the facilities are superb. We were upgraded once staff realised that our child was 16 not 6, so they gave us... We stayed here in September 2014 for a few days and the weather was warm and sunny. The setting of this charming hotel is a dream. It is not directly in Ribeauville and that's a good thing. The hotel is away from the crowds and very tranquil. The view from our room and the dining room onto the vineyards is... More

I can't understand hotel ratings because this 4 star property should be 10 stars if you are comparing apples for apples. It's a class act, a wonderful hotel, gorgeous room, superb views, brilliant food (the most enjoyable dinner of our trip). Loved the charm of the dinner hosts, the lovely setting and the excellent cuisine. I note another reviewer thinks... More

Every few years, when we travel through Europe, we stop at Le Clos for 3 or 4 days. We always call in advance, and after having stayed in several other rooms, now request room 25. If it is not available, then 23 or 24 will also be very nice, but that's it. Not that the other rooms don't have their... More
