This is a really lovely place that could do with more visitors. The welcome is friendly, the room we had was clean, modern and quiet. The "spa" was a little small, but perfectly serviceable and well used. The pool is also perfectly decent and clean. The restaurant serves very well cooked food, to a high standard. It's just a little... More

We stayed here for a night having spent the day looking at the Grunewald Issenheim Alterpiece in Colmar - well worth a visit just for that. The hotel was a welcome relief at the end of a long day's travelling and sightseeing. We arrived, were shown to a lovely, spacious, light, bright room with great views of the surrounding countryside,... More

I cannot understand why this hotel is only 3 star. On this trip we stayed in three four star hotels, and our room and bathroom in the Hotel St Barnabe was better than in any of them. Its setting was the best, the breakfast was excellent and dinner in the restaurant was very good too. Service was really helpful and... More

Due to a short trip we didn't manage to use the Spa facilities. We enjoyed staying in the Chalet which had a very nice rustic feel to it. The hotel is a great starting point for walks through the wooded areas and hills around it. We thoroughly enjoyed the local organic food and wine and were impressed by the phenomenal... More

Having read some of the other reviews of this hotel I was concerned of what we would find. Our experience here was very good. On arrival the desk clerk refused to let me carry my wife's bags up stairs and took them for us. The room we had was a little dated but rather charming with a nice view down... More

The hotel was very unpleasant, the staff was very unfriendly and they don't speak English. The food was quite expensive and of bad quality. Breakfast was horrible. The hotel is not quite, but along the main street. Don't trust the official pictures or the hotel. Minibar did not work. Bath is not very nice. Don't go to this hotel.

Avoid the dinner and the breakfast. The breakfast is at 12 euros and can't have bacon & eggs... The rooms are not at the 3* level. Too expensive at this level.

The hotel location and quietness are nice. The room needed refreshing. The restaurant is to avoid at all cost : overpriced dishes, poor quality, terrible service. This establishment is more a tourist factory than a place to relax. I would not recommend it. They even refused to take credit card because it costs them too much (1%) and asked all... More
