A Relais & Chateaux hotel in Kayserberg, one of the Wine Route's most attractive villages. A beautifully maintained hotel with a 2 star Michelin restaurant (and also a more casual alternative). The main gastronomic restaurant is beautifully designed with the creative touches that the great chefs are renowned for. The staff are exceptional - mostly young and eager to please.... More

Amenities in the bathroom were emptied from previous guests and not checked by room staff. Face towels were not replaced on the second day. Wistub was excellent. Restaurant 64 is overpriced for what is being served. No english menue for our friends from overseas. Bar service non existant had to wait for almost 25 min and repeated callsfor service on... More

From the moment we saw Chambard we knew it was a special place, as it's nestled at the base of a vine-covered rolling hill -- not to mention a medieval castle is perched in the distance. While the room was immaculately clean (even the most basic room) with every amenity you could ever need, the staff at Chambard was what... More

There are literally dozens of villages along the Alsace wine trail, and many of them, though quaint, offer very few options for dining or shopping - and primarily live off wine tasting rooms. Kaiserberg is a notable exception - and Chambard is the place to stay in this gorgeous little town. The hotel is trendy, with purple rugs and Andy... More

Stayed here at the end of a week's walking in Alsace. Kaysersberg is pretty as a picture and hotel Chambard is both quaint (old building) and quirky ( very modern, colourful decor) with a (small) pool and beautiful smelling spa, plus 2* Michelin restaurant. Everything to match your expectations, 10/10, but this review is for the extra mile gone by... More

This family run hotel is in the middle of the medieval town of Kaysersberg, on the Alsace Wine Route. It has a quirky boudoir style with colourful decor and unusual objects dotted about. The star attraction is the hotel's 2* restaurant, named "64 Degrees" after the chef's signature egg dish. We had the tasting menu with additional cheese course which... More

I deliberately picked this hotel for its great location and its 2 starred MIchelin restaurant. On arrival, we found that the hotel decor was jarring and not quite what we expected. Then things got worse as we walked to the rooms. The hotel corridors were lined with green netting and the carpets were purple shag pile. A bit like a... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during a holiday in the Alsace, and loved it. The hotel is well-located (on the main street in the lovely little town of Kaysersberg) and attractive. The decor is funky and hip (purple carpets! green wall-fabrics! in the same room!) and our room was lovely. There's good wifi access, and from... More

Room and hotel are wonderful. Ideal position in the village. Rooms are modern clean, bathroom well equipped and large. Spa is excellent. The 64 degrees restaurant, for me, is overrated and expensive. Breakfast highlight was the freshly squeezed orange juice and exquisite cheeses.

A return visit to this beautiful town & the lovely old Chambard. Have stayed before & have always greatly enjoyed it, A very well kept hotel that has just become a member of Relais & Chateaux . Parts of the hotel are old so some rooms are a little difficult to get as the levels are up & down, but... More
