I loved my trip to Alsace, and having Le Chambard as our hotel for the brief 2 days we were there made it even better. Situated in the commune of Kaysersberg between Colmar and Ribeauville, it's walking distance from the next town Ammerschwihr, and Kaysersberg itself has tons of shops and winemakers and even it's own castle ruins to explore.... If you want top local cuisine in the comfortable environment and typical Alsatian surroundings you are absolutely right in this place; all is homemade and executed to its best by a 2 michelin star chef, the wine list is local and has a good selection. The very knowledgable staff will always recommend you the right one; 1 visit isn't enough,... More

We spent two nights in Hotel Chambard in March and thoroughly enjoyed the location, style and ambience of the hotel. The decor is recent and of a very high standard, blending a tasteful and well executed restoration of the old building with the modern requirements of an upmarket boutique hotel. The rooms are clean, well finished and well kept, with... More

I like this hotel a lot. The rooms are simple, chic, comfortable. The hotel's interior is quirky and cosy. And then, there's the restaurant. Consistent, very tasty, good quality and creative dishes - it's a Michelin star restaurant, so no doubt about it being good. The staff is very friendly and will remember you and your choices if you return... More

Chambard is a charming and comfortable hotel in the photogenic little wine town of Kaysersberg. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view over the town and vineyards. We took dinner at the gastronomic restaurant where Olivier Nasti continues to excel. Having eaten here twice when the restaurant had one Michelin star we were keen to see what magic... More

We quickly changed our reservation from one night to three. The interior design is wild --- with plush purple carpeting, various textiles and visual delights throughout --- and strangely cocoon-like. Our room looked onto hills of vineyards, golden in October. The bistro (stub) was absolutely delicious. The spa services were great, complementing a handsome small pool, jacuzzi, hot tub, steam... A delightful stay at this hotel. Kaysersberg is an undiscovered gem. The hotel is in a beautiful old building but thoroughly modernised inside. Our room had a balcony overlooking a garden with a 16th century tower in ( with a plaque saying it had either been inhabited by sorcerers or bandits) and a tree where birds erupted into song at... We booked the hotel at the last minute and did not really know what to expect....and we found paradise! The hotel is in the middle of the very quaint town of Kaysersberg, it has a private car park for the guest which is very handy as the town has a lot of tourist visiting. The hotel has a very interesting... More

Not only did we spend the night here but had the pleasure of dining here too. We were upgraded to a spacious suite with outstanding views of the vineyards. Dinner was perfection and we were invited to visit the kitchen and meet Oliver Nast, the amazing chef. It was a perfect evening!

This is a place you will remember- the decor is not understated in any way, you might not enjoy it at home but it is great fun in a hotel. There is a small swimming pool and spa and a little garden where to sit by the witches tower (!) and the receptionists are delightful, very smart in their salmon... More
