We have probably visited all the lovely Alsatian towns over the years and Kaysersberg is surely one of the best.. The hotel is typical of the region and certainly without criticism for a medium priced hotel. The restaurant is the usual rustic style and the food good local produce. Nothing unexpected - just the usual good quality offering at a... More

This was our first stop on our car tour of Alsace. Pat and I chose Kaysersberg because it’s one of the nearest towns after the journey down. The hotel is beautifully set on the main cobbled street among timber framed houses painted every colour there is. There are shops, bars and restaurants and the Albert Schweitzer museum. Our room was... More

It only seemed right that we stopped off at this café whilst cycling in the Vosge. Not just because of the coffee and light lunch, but the café was originally owned by the family of local Tour De France cyclist Roger Hassenforder. The new owners have retained the clippings and the pictures of Roger for people to read and admire.... More

We had stayed at this hotel a couple of years earlier on our way back from Elba and enjoyed our stay. It's a quaint old building on the main street in Kayserberg right opposite the Dr Albert Schweitzer museum. Parking is available (free after 6.00) a few yards up the street. The rooms are fine, the jewel is the restaurant... More

Have now stayed at this hotel 3 times - it is a great base for exploring Alsace. Rooms are big and well equipped for the price, staff very friendly & helpful and extremely patient with our limited french. Breakfast a bit basic but overall a very good experience

The hotel offers a great position in central Kaysersberg with numerous restaurants and brasseries nearby, however the best Restaurant was the one at the hotel itself. Parking in central Kaysersberg was easy and cheap. The hotel offers no air conditioning which unfortunately made the room extremely warm in the warm days when we visited, but it was still a great... Beautiful hotel on the best location. Everything is right about this place. For this price: an excellent choice! We had a very warm welcome and they made no problem about arriving with our small dog. We love to stay here again.

Room rates were very reasonable and the location excellent. The hotel is a brief walk from a large public parking lot and the Albert Schweitzer park (no hotel parking). Our pleasant and quiet room was in the back of the hotel and we were very pleased with it; however, two of our friends had rooms at the front of the... More
