The stairs to the top of the building were a small price to pay for the fabulous views and lovely room. We were a party of four and had the two rooms that shared a terrace overlooking the harbour and the church opposite - stunning! It was very clean and breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was great. Sitting out on... More

We definitely love this place. Great central location, perfect cleanness, very interesting owner who knows lots of great historical tales... Sweet bar where you can have great breakfast and fantastic pizza. I can't wait to go there again.

We found our visit to Vis an idyllic experience, and Pansion Dionis was part of this. It's only a few minutes walk from the ferry and it's hard to imagine a better location on the harbour front. We were on the top floor, which is quite a haul with a large suitcase, but then the website made that perfectly clear... More

We stayed for two nights here, 65 euro per night, pre-booked online. We had an appartment at the top with a balcony overlooking the harbour, which was lovely. As already mentioned, a few stairs to negotiate - but as I said a few times on our holiday, lots of stairs equals a good view! And the accommodation is worth the... More

So this apartment is good. But not bad but also not great. Hence average review. We stayed in the two bedroom one. It was clean and a good size. It looked over the front but the double glazing shut out all the noise. The kitchen was ok and more than good enough to cook breakfast. The bathroom looked new and... More

Pension Dionis is a beautiful stone house, located at the bottom of a small square, on the seafront of the village of Vis, at about 300 m from the ferries arrival pier. A annexed konoba/pizzeria is located on the ground floor, serving breakfast for the pension guests; of course, the konoba is available to anybody for lunch, dinner and drinks... More

Stayed two nights recently. Got the late ferry from Split and it was a 10 minute walk along the harbour front to Dionis. Its an old stone building, there is a Pizza restaurant below which doubles up as reception for the rooms. Our room - no 5 - was situated up three flights of stairs and had a fabulous view... More

I've ticked this as average. Not because of hotel quality, that was good, basic but clean, but when you get off a late ferry from Split and it is bucketing down with rain, you do expect to be able to park within cooee of the hotel, if only to off load your cases. The roads along the waterfront are blocked... More

We didn't stay in the b&b but we did have a pizza for lunch one day in the pizzaeria attached. The service was polite and quick and the setting is lovely. Looking out over the waterfront and just a 5 minute walk from the ferry it is a perfect location. The pizza was nice and the flavours were very fresh,... More

We stayed on the top floor in a room with skylights that had a lovely deck overlooking the harbour. It was spotless, with comfortable bed and nice sized fridge, which allowed us to eat fresh food on our balcony while watching the sailboats docking! Breakfasts (included) were delicious and plentiful, and we had pizza at the restaurants a couple of... More
