We stayed at this hotel at the end of August 2015. As Croatians and with some friends who stayed there before, we knew what we were getting ourselves into. The location of the hotel, being across from the center of town Vis is perfect for families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday. It would be even better if the... More

This hotel should be avoided at all costs. Firstly....they charged us $40 USD per night extra for having 2 people (even though that's what we booked). Absolutely criminal. So we cancelled the rest of our stay and only stayed one night. Next.....this hotel is NOT worth $130+ USD per night. It is a creepy, sad, cement, very soviet style dreary... More

Positive: The hotel is really near the town center and harbour. If you get a room on a sea side the view is amazing. The park side is not so bad either because it's very quiet. The rooms are old-fashioned but very clean. The bathroom was newly refurbished and also very clean. All the stuff were very nice, helpful and... More

If you are able to forget the 70's look of the Hotel, and pre-fall-of-the-Berlin-wall style (including the staff), this is a very nice Hotel on a marvelous Island. It is conveniently located. It would probably be more picturesque to stay in Komica, but there seem to be not so many choices. So as one of the few Hotels in Vis,... More

Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the harbour and offers amazing views from the spacious balconies. Rooms are large and kept clean however the beds are hard and mattresses thin. Good shower and the bathrooms are very clean. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby which is a little tired and in need of decorating ....... and some... More

We had read some mixed reviews on the Hotel Issa. As we booked rather late we were left with a limited choice of Hotels (ie none but this one) so the Issa it was. The location is nice - 5 mins walk by out of the town of Vis Town. Check in was pleasant and efficient. The room was basic... More

This hotel has a good location, 10 minutes walk from the town centre and ferry. The beach is just outside the hotel. The hotel itself is a bit dated and in need of some refurbishment. However, the room we had was clean, good shower and a large balcony. Air con is extra (50kn a day), which is irritating as it... More

This is an average hotel in a beautiful place.Definitely do not expect much. The entire hotel is decorated spartan, old-fashioned and whit no style.Rooms are small and simple whit no wifi.Breakfast was mediocre with a fairly simple choice of food. Hotel staff is also not on the level, rather uninterested. On the other hand, the hotel lies on the beautiful place, beach is across... More

We stayed here for two nights after arriving on Vis with nowhere to stay after our apartment had been double booked. We paid nearly £100 per night for a clean simple room with a great shower but no fridge, a fantastic view of the sea and the harbour, but no aircon. Beach across the road. Simple breakfast boiled egg/omlette, processed... More

Being one of three hotels in Vis, Issa has the best location with the beach just in front. Hotel is averge and quite old, but I must say that everything is very clean and the staff are nice and polite. Food was okay, just what I expected to get in a 3 star hotel. Every room comes with a balcony... More
