5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Went here last summer and was glad that my sister recommended this to me. We only had a standard room but was satisfied that everything's in their proper place (and that they are actually working). Functional telly with cable, safety box, a comfy bed and shared balcony -- just the essentials. Hotel personnel were all nice and ready to help... More

The Resort is absolutely fantastic. We had checked in for seven days and ended up staying eighteen days. I have stayed at both Sheavens and Wild orchid. Neither resort matched the beauty and convenience of the Palm Tree resort. We did not have to face the sales merchants every day and did not have to spend much on trikes. The... More

Thinking back from when i was here a couple months back, here are what stood out from memory: the sweet european shower bar and restaurant that actually serve GOOD food poolbar with decent beverages Accommodating and helpful staff Booked a pool view room that comes with pillow-top mattress, cable tv, safe, wifi, stocked mini bar, in-room safe and free coffee/tea.... This hotel is horrible. We originally booked a room in this hotel, attracted by their website and reviews on Trip Advisor. It's located beside a strip joint and numerous other girly bars in the vicinity. There were no nearby reputable restaurants. The front desk itself was littered with pamphlets of suspicious looking bars and pubs. The room has this worn... More

Been here many many times over last 5 years and I gave it 4 out of 5 based on my overall opinion: rooms are good and it's a very clean hotel. The bar is quite good and location is excellent. My only negative is related to the Sunday roast lunch and Xmas dinners. The vegetables are always under cooked despite... More

Good position hotel a little rough around the edges. Stayed for 3 nights in family room. Room was nice and clean with good double beds. Pool was good but the pool surrounds are rather poor. The restaurant was excellent. The food was fantastic at a great price. Restaurant service was good but staff in other areas seemed non existent. The... More

The hotel staff has no manager only a person in charge who does not know the meaning of customer satisfaction and customer relations. She (the so called in charge) cannot decide well, the other staff spoke and decide on her behalf. There are hidden charges also.

The Palm Tree Resort offers great rooms at reasonable prices. There are many budget hotels in the area but for an extra few £/$ try the Palm Tree. The food is great, especially for the American or European traveler who has had enough boiled rice ! Varied menu to suit all tastes.

My partner and I stayed stayed at the Palm Tree for 3 nights in April 2013 and had a wonderful time. The rooms are spacious (king size bed as standard) and reasonably priced. The hotel is ideally situated on the beach and main road but we had no problem with noise as the hotel is set back slightly from the... More
