We stayed here for three nights. I had been very specific in my emails that I wanted a very quiet room. I also chose the second floor as it was said in reviews to be quieter. So we get there and they had put us in a room on the second floor close to the roadway and I immediately heard... More

Pros - Very good location. A block away is the heritage village. Further down is the plaza. Hardwood furniture and detail give each room a period-appropriate feel, a warm and welcoming old world charm. Staff at the front desk are very helpful. Wifi is ok. Cons - There was a dead cockroach of the bathroom floor. Three days on it... More

We stayed end of May 2015. We went on an overnight trip from Manila to Vigan to Baguio, while looking for a place to stay in Vigan, I came across Hotel Salcedo de Vigan and chose between this hotel and Hotel One Vittoria. Hotel One Vittoria is the newer of the two, but is located outside of town. I ended... More

When I booked our group in Hotel Salcedo de Vigan, I had another hotel in mind where I stayed during one of my visits in Vigan. I liked that other hotel that's why I was booking it again. I didn't regret my mistake as it turned out that Hotel Salcedo was a lot better than the hotel where I stayed... More

We visited during Holy Week and man there are a LOT of people in Vigan, seriously a lot but anyway this review is about the hotel and not the tourists so... here goes. The hotel, externally, is quite appealing because it gives you that feeling as if you were present during that period in the Philippines. Regarding the interior, it... More

Hotel Salcedo de Vigan cannot be missed. It is strategically located, probably even sited at the very centre of Vigan city in Ilocos Sur. When you enter Vigan, use Quirino street and you"ll find yourself traversing a street going to Luna street. There, you'll see Hotel Salcedo de Vigan. It was a year and a half ago, when my family... Used this hotel for a 3D/2N stay in Vigan. Located just a block away from the iconic Calle Crisologo and a short walk from cathedral and Plaza Salcedo, the place offers a convenient vantage point from which to explore the entire city. We were given room#103 on the first floor and here are my observations: Pros: clean, comfy double bed,... More

We had three nights at Hotel Salcedo in Vigan in Feb 2015. Overall it was enjoyable both in this hotel and Vigan as a whole. First the good parts about the hotel. Location is great, right in the heart of the historic town. The hotel has character in its decor and furnishings and this extends to the rooms too giving... More

I loved this hotel. My family and I checked in late, around 7ish? and had no problems with check-in. The lobby was not impressive, I got kinda scared. The hotel itself was decorated nicely, you really get that old-world feel that Vigan is all about. It is off the main road about a block away, so it wasn't not noisy... More
