Such a wonderful stay. The staff is wonderful. The location is perfect- and Bhaktapur is amazing as well. There was no AC in our room- but that was the only downfall and it wasn't too hot. Awesome quality for price- cleanest, nicest place we've stayed in in Nepal.

Cosy Hotel is a nice boutique hotel located centrally in the old town of Bhaktapur. The rooms are spacious and bright, however the bathrooms are quite small. The staff at this place were super friendly, and the rooftop restaurant was very decent, especially for breakfast (don't bother about their burger though). Our room was overlooking the small courtyard in which... More

Stayed here for 8 nights. The hotel is situated in a little courtyard and from the outside it looks pretty old but don't let that put you off! Positives The room was exactly how it looks on the internet it was clean and spacious and comes with complimentary bottles of water, colgate toothbrush and toothpaste! A little luxury I imagine... The stay already started nice with a warm welcome by the reception staff. The room was clean and modern, big enough for us three people. The hotel is affected by power cuts, but sufficient light still worked (and I definitely prefer that over generator electricity...) Breakfast was good and staff in the restaurant was flexible to special requests. The location... More

This hotel looks old on the outside, but very clean, modernly appointed in the inside. It's location next to the Pottery Square means you stay right smack where ordinary Newari people live. The small square in front of the hotel is used for drying wheat and processing clay for making pottery. Just to the right of the hotel is Pottery... More

Most of all I felt relaxed and at home in this small gem of a hotel. Staff did their utmost to make me feel both well and appreciated! I loved the generous breakfasts on the roof top terrace, while enjoying an interesting view of activities on the neighbourhood roof tops. Good beds, complimentary drinks and "feel good" items in the... More

It's a pity that Bhaktapur is not as traffic free as some people suggest. Due to the narrow streets and alleys the horns from the motor bikes resonate through the town. This affects some of the rooms on the street side so choose one of those looking into the courtyard. However, here we have the problem of a poor neglected... More

Bhaktapur is full of old world charm and the Cosy Hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy everything it has to offer. It's set back in a warren of picturesque side streets on Potter's Square, where you can watch all kinds of pottery-making activities if your window faces the right direction. My room was attractive, with nice furnishings and... More
