We stayed here for the weekend to visit the famous temple in Thanjavur. Just nice, nothing spectacular but clean and there's a restaurant next to it which had too much airco (very cold) but with good food.

This hotel stores a lots and lots of bed bugs. All over the place. And the staff are aware of it. Advice everyone of you not to go there and carry bedbug for free to your home. The hotel is located in a nice building, in walking (or in my case: cycling) distance from the Brihadishwara temple. The room was nice and quite large. Good value.

I think this may be a government owned hotel, it's a bit shabby and some parts were undergoing refurbishment when we visited in Dec 2010. The rooms are massive and very clean. Our room had no hot water the first morning and the staff brought up a large bucket of hot water for us to wash with which was fine.... More
