this a simple place, so if you are looking for the "holiday inn onsea" forget it. This is genuine Goa "warts & all" It also happens to be very cheap. The owner/manager Vivek has a magnetic personality and nothing but nothing is too much trouble. My wife & I will hopeful go back again next winter. more

We (5 girls) stayed there for 3 weeks and we all didnt want to leave that place. not just the weather and the wonderful beach made those 3 weeks to a perfect vacations, but also the people. The stay at Raj Resort was just amazing, we all felt like home there and enjoyed every single day. The guys working there... more

My wife and i stayed at Raj Resort for two weeks in November 2007. The hotel is small with a nice swimmig pool , our room was large with a balcony that had views over Bogmallo. I have stayed at this place and what you read here is not true. The other reviews posted here are very likely fake reviews. The hostel is in fact rundown and not very nice. Compared to similar hostels with this standard in Goa it is also overpriced. I advice against staying here and be sure not to pay in advance... more

Most of the guests who have stayed with us are very happy with our services and have shown their appreciation by way of putting up their reviews.It is unfair to call these reviews fake.Apart from tripadvisor,there are several reviews on sites like hostelworld and hostelbookers which are submitted by customers directly to these booking engines and we have no control...

Raj Resorts was a great place for our family to kick back after 15 days of touring up north. Our rooms were everything we wanted, clean spacious and at a good price. Visited this hotel in May 2007. My concern as that the reviews on this site and other sites may be fabrications. It is astonishing that the reviews listed give it top billing except for one on Yahoo with which I must agree. The hotel is run down, is isolated and has little other than its price going for it. We had a lovely time at Raj Resort. Vivek was a very helpful and funny and a very good host always ready to attend to all our wishes. Whenever you wanted something somedody was there for you and you were left alone when you felt like it. Just perfect. Also the staff were very attentive and freindly.Hope to come again... more
