We stayed 7-22 April 2008. As usual I read mixed reviews, but what people often forget is that you are not going to a 4/5* European/US hotel. Its 4/5* compared to what the local have to live in. The staff were excellant, we upgraded our room and got all sorts of extras that made the holiday, towels fresh every day,... more

We booked our room thru' the net. As soon as we arrived in the hotel, we found the reception staff a bit rude as if they're doing a favour by letting us stay there. The net promises us a good view from the room but our room view was the kitchen. The rooms and bathrooms were dirty and filthy. The... more

We were at a bit apprehensive about staying at the Sun Village, as we had read the reviews on Trip Advisor before we left. When we arrived we realised we had nothing to worry about. The hotel was lovely, the rooms were nice maybe they were a bit old fashioned but that didn't bother us. The staff were lovely, nothing... more

In the end I was pleasantly surprised as it was not awful we had a really good holiday. Ok the hotel is old fashioned and its not what we are used to but... more
