We stayed in this hotel during the Kalachakara , the location of the hotel is near to the Mahabodhi Temple and the Kalachakra venue. Bodhgaya was a delightful stay during the 9-weeks we spent traveling India. The Hotel Embassy was RS800 per night, which ended up feeling like a rip-off. I stayed there for two nights at a rate of 900 rps / night. The hotel is a bit run-down and not 100% clean, still it is ok for a short stay. Although I believe that it is possible to get the same room quality for a much better price in any of the nearby guesthouses.

We stayed for four nights at a cost of Rs2640 per night (A$80). This is an outrageous price but at the height of the pilgrimage season, I'm guessing that every hotel in Bodhgaya is price-gouging to the same degree.
