A young team, always ready to help and smiling. Clean room and bathroom, very interesting price. The cook lacks a little experience, but he does what he can to answer customers' desires. So delighted that I will come back next year.

The rating of this guest house will depend on whether one likes this sort of setting (I do) - ie a guest house situated in a small village overlooking farmhouse backyards and country life. As such this is a unique place. The house was clean and service was very friendly and helpful. I was able to borrow a cycle at... More

I stayed here for four nights in November 2014. I originally booked a standard room which cost around $26 but after seeing how small and claustrophobic it was I requested the more expensive room which was around $36. It had a balcony, tv, air con. The rooftop was nice to sit at but the food was not that great and... More

sorry this review will not echo the grand statements about this quest house...I'll be as fair as possible and lay out the pros and cons...first time in Bodh Gaya and loved the area, Bodh Gaya is what I would call a town, the location of the hotel is what I would call a large village about 1.5 miles from town.... The service is unbeatable - efficient, helpful and very friendly. Everything is very clean and well maintained, including the rooftop restaurant which is extremely affordable. It was a wonderful oasis after the craziness of Holi in Varanasi. The location is in a neighbourhood of Bodhgaya but town isn't very far to walk. A short rickshaw ride at worst.

I spent here three weeks in December 2014 -January 2015. The guesthouse is well located if one comes to Bodghaya in order to attend the Kagyu Monlam. As a matter of fact, that was the main reason i chose it, and I will return here in 2016. Rooms are clean an the staff is polite and friendly. My room was... More

In terms of price it is not the cheapest around the vicinity of bodh gaya. However, the value of money is high. When we arrive at Gaya Railway station at an unholy hour...a staff waited for us for hotel transfer.. Which is good and safe as Bihar is not so safe. The location of the hotel is a bit far... More

This was our very first impression of Indian hospitality and we were not disappointed. From arriving at an ungodly hour of 3am there was nothing too big or small for the staff to assist with. Organising a day trip out to Rajgir and Nalanda was a breeze and reasonably priced and they even went out to pick up and setup... More

We think this is a very good guest house. We stayed here 1 night in November 2014. The hotel is located in a small village about 1 km from the centre of town – an easy 15 minute walk through rice paddies. Our room was small but clean and functional. The bed was comfortable. There was no problem with noise.... More

Kundan Bazar Guest House is in a good location away from the main street of Bodh Gaya. The room is very basic, but it has all necessities - running hot water, kettle and cable tv. Staff was helpful and friendly. They helped organising a day trip to Rajgir and Nalanda and buying a mobile phone sim card.
