It's a great hotel, right in the middle of the panorama route. I recommend staying in Graskop for this route, it's the closest place. The hotel was very nice, we stayed in a garden room because we preferred a "clean" decoration to the artsy ones. We arrived late but the staff managed to accommodate us for dinner, they were all... We stayed at the Graskop hotel for four days during the past festive season. It is an artists paradise in terms of the decor in the rooms, and longe. With a homely feel, the rooms were clean, and hospitality up to par. I recommend you try the breakfast, everything tastes homemade. It is ideal for getting around the panorama route... More

We stayed here over Christmas and loved the Graskop Hotel. Lots of fascinating art throughout the hotel and rooms and art deco furniture in the lounge . Out high point was a 5 course xmas dinner with duck AND perfectly grilled fillet for mains. The starters were sweet melon with gammon which we followed with a trout terrine and third... More

Nice breakfast buffet of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt and muffins plus a good selection cooked to order. Clean and tidy rooms but small double bed. The garden room with patio was pleasant. Good location in the centre of town with secure parking outside the room - a bit like a motel. Staff pleasant and helpful but a bit impersonal overall.

You would not expect to find such a quirky hotel with imaginative arty rooms and lounges in rural Mpumalanga! Each room is designed by a different artist yet is warm and cozy. The room was clean and the beds super comfy! Very warm reception and good vibes. The hotel has fireplaces in the lounge, bar and dining room and the... More

The Graskop Hotel is busy with customers combining the nature with arts, which can be seen all around the hotel. Great place to visit the suroundings, especially the Blyde River Canyon. Great place to learn to design your life (EducationalPaths.com)!!!

Enjoyed two nights at the Graskop Hotel in a beautiful white bedroom. the bed was gorgeous all in white with white walls, really exquisite and think the large curtains were white too. You opened them to a beautiful spring garden filled with flowers and greenery. It was early spring in South Africa. The hotel has a great deal of beautiful... More

An easy drive from Jo'burg and a perfect stop on the way to Kruger. This is a funky "individual" hotel with each room interestingly decorated by different artists. We stayed in an extraordinary pink room (with an even pinker bathroom!) with slightly erotic images in the wallpaper! Great fun. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food good.... More
