We had again a phantastic stay at Zur alten Mine and Walli and Rainer are the best hosts you can get. Extremly friendly and helpful. If you need anything between travelling tips or a recommondation for dinner, you will get it. The accommodations are nice and clean, the breakfast is very diversified and tasty. A place where we will come... More

Rainer was extremely friendly and helpful with great travelling tips. Superb host. The location was perfect and the chalet was cosy with lovely touches like fresh flowers, daily clean towels and dishes being washed by the staff in the mornings. What a lovely surprise! We simply loved every minute of our stay!

My husband and I stayed in the family cottage at Zur Alten Mine during December 2015 with our three kids- b&b option. While expecting at least a decent place to sleep for the economic price we paid, there were quite a few value added surprises! * On arrival we found that our unit were supplied with complimentary coffee, tea and... My husband and I stayed at Zurich Alten Mine in the 2 sleeper cottage. What a wonderful little spot. Everything about Zurich Alten reflects the typical German efficiency of the owners. It is neat, well-kept and has excellent attention to detail. Our cottage was very well equipped, serviced daily and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

We stayed at Zur Alten Mine for 4 Nights. We lived in the Log Cabin. It was stunning in that it was more like a mini house in stead of just a room in a guest house. Very well equipped with a fire place for those cold misty days in the area. The only thing that would have made it... More

Talk to Rainer, this is what you hear when you are asking anybody where to go, what to do or only for an advice or hint. Rainer and Walli are the owner ZUR ALTEN MIENE. International guests, many German speaking. Houses are very lovely made, own brai area applicable. Wood for fire can be bought at Rainer. Take your swim... More
