We stayed for three nights in one of the chalets. We were four adults and one baby. There was lots of room in the chalet which was nice. I felt the upkeep could have been somewhat better. The drawers in the kitchen were musty smelling so we just washed everything before using it. The bathrooms could have been somewhat more... More

I personally feel that the lodge is a bit over priced. The accommodation is standard and there is nothing special about it. The view is good but only from some units. The units are clean and large enough for a good sized family. Graskop itself has some good restaurants and curios shops, beware of the street vendors as they will... More

I stayed in Mogodi Lodge for 2 nights. It was a school holiday and we did not have a booking. Mogodi Lodge had literally the last available room in Graskop as someone had cancelled. At first we were just happy that we got a room but when we got to it we were pleasantly surprised. The room was really huge... More

We slept here on our way back from the Kruger Park. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable; everything worked and the kitchen was well equipped. The place doesn't have much character but we didn't expect (or require) character. The swing/zipline looked fun but we didn't have time to try it. Good value. We had pancakes at Harries in town... Stayed as part of a group on our first night in SA. We had a 2 bedroomed bungalow which was plenty big enough with warm showers and comfy bedding. The small kitchen area was fully stocked and I can see why people choose this place for a weekend trip to the Kruger. We did try out the pool much to... More

We stayed as part of a tour group. We stayed in lovely clean room with comfortable bed. There was a TV (reception poor) and a kettle and cups for tea and coffee. The shower was lovely and hot. The views from the room are spectacular.

Over the years we have stayed at Mogodi Lodge several times. The lodge sits on the edge of a crevasse from where you may swing or foofi-slide out over the canyon. (Not me!) The gift shop is actually terrific, and now that we are home we wish we had purchased all of our gifts and curios there as the prices... More

On the picture it looks amazing, lodges above a waterfall. In reality you can't see or hear the waterfall because it's over the edge of the cliff. The view of the picture you see is when you stand on a cliff on the opposite side of the lodge. You can also abseil their, but it doesn't really look all that... More

Management response:

"In reality you can't see or hear the waterfall because it's over the edge of the cliff. " and this is exactly what our picture shows, so you can see what you get, don't understand here disappointment, no one promise view over waterfall. The rest is even no worth responding on , client not happy, unfortunately can't satisfy everyone. More

This is the second time we have stayed at Mogodi, so that is clearly a recommendation. Our family party consisted of two families. We stayed in adjacent chalets and so we could share our breakfasts and braais together. The space and facilities are adequate and the price is reasonable. The rooms, lounge and bathroom surround the central kitchen and dining... More
