We had a one night stop at Mogodi during our SA tour. It was rainy and foggy, so we did not have chance enjoy the views from the lodge which apparently are beautiful. Our stay was still very pleasant, for the rooms were spacious and clean, beds comfortable enough and it was very quiet. The only negative thing was about... More

Wow! We stayed in a self catering unit, well maintained units and gardens. Surprised at the well furnished unit, size and bathroom, shower and bath available. Serviced every day, fireplace cleaned, and reception well informed of areas around Graskop. Maps freely available. Noise level were maintained even over the New Year time. Could not asked for better base to explore... More

We are very thankful to the owner who organised a room for us on such short notice after having a bad experience at another lodge that evening. Not only was the owner extremely helpful but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was great

We stayed (2 couples) at Magodi Lodge in a two bedroomed chalet which was well laid out, spacious and clean. It was the perfect base to visit the areas attractions. The pool could have been cleaner and one of our party refused to swim in it despite the extremely hot weather. The young lady in reception could have been more... More

We arrived here on the first day, after a long drive from JNB airport. All we wanted was a clean place, a good bed and a hot meal. We got all of those all right. What amazes us is how little pride (and knowledge) South Africans (those from up North, anyway!) have about their own wines. All they know is... More

Basic motel style hotel. Rooms spacious with nice beds but as previously advised shower early as I left it too late at night and had a cold one. Communal kitchen and eating area for self catering. OK for a 1 night stopover

50 OAP's from the U3A club in Cape Town descended upon this wonderful place for 5 nights. The welcome was wonderful - and the meals prepared and served by the most friendly and happy lady in charge of catering were absolutely delicious! The ambiance of the whole lodge is just perfect, and it is the perfect place to start all... More

The Mogodi Lodge has both, rooms and Chalets. We shared a lovely 4 sleeper Chalet with some friends whilst on a tour of the Lowveld. The Chalet is very well laid out and was neat and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace set in the lounge area and spent our evenings around a cosy fire made with pine blocks purchased at... More

We stayed in the rooms, not the chalets. And those rooms are pretty okay. A small bathroom with a bath, a queen size or two single beds and a tv liked they used to have in the old days. What makes it better is the restaurant, which serves good food at a good price). There is also room for a... More
