Previous reviews are very accurate. Elephants nest is affordable and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here because of Mr Nico and other guest we met. Our room was comfortable, nothing too fussy. Everything you need including candles and flashlights ( spent evening with no power after a spectacular thunder storm). The room /porch faces a lovingly cared for garden. Chairs... More

We stayed here after 4 nights in Kruger park and although the weather was abysmal, the welcome in its guest house really made a difference to how positive we were feeling about Graskop. The owner who greeted us was very warm and inviting. He didn't only show us round but also gave us some advice about the activities we had... More

Our first stop on our road trip through South Africa was in Graskop. After a long journey and drive from Johannesburg via the Panaroma Route we were warmly welcomed by it's owner. The guesthouse has a great garden, nice views, good rooms, and a nice breakfast! The owner was very helpful as well regarding our questions and to get us... More

More

My partner and I found a room at the Elephant's Nest right at the last minute, and we were very glad we did. When coming to the guesthouse we were warmly welcomed by the owner. He showed us in, advised to keep the car in the inner parking for security reasons, and showed us to our double bedded room which... More

We enjoyed Nico and Jubilie's hospitality for a couple of nights at Elephants Nest. It is located a bit outside of town and was a fine place to relax. We were on our way to Kruger and enjoyed getting to know the owners. They are a very nice couple, very helpful, and, when they needed to be away for a... More

The Elephant Nest is not an exceptional place, but it is very quiet, comfortable and affordable, in the green a bit outside from the city. Owners are friendly and kind, breakfast is good. I stopped there after a long trip from Pretoria on my way to Kruger park and really got a very good rest. Last but not least, the... More

I will coime back as soon as visit South Africa again. Kruger Park is very close for a day visit and enjoyed playing golf 10 km from Graskop.
