Due to a South African Airways strike and following a long flight from London, via Johannesberg then driving up from Windhoek in a hired 4x4, we arrived 24 hours late. For me this was the best place we stayed at in Namibia - I loved it, but my wife preferred one of the other lodges. The accommodation was nothing short of excellent and consists of individual bungalows set on a steep hillside which are beautifully appointed and which are private from each other. Poorly maintained and lousy service. Was v. disappointed considering how pricey it is! Perhaps the worst value for money out of the 8 hotels / lodges we stayed at in Namibia. more

Wonderful place on the hills near Etocha national park in a private nature reserve. It has several chalets with great space, well decorated and beautiful views. The main facilities( spa, restaurant, swiming pool, etc) are outstanding. The staff is very friendly and the food is great!! It worth the price, and i hope to come back soon... more
