We camped for two nights at Eldorado as it is only 7km from the Anderson gate at Etosha and much more affordable than inside Etosha itself. The campsite itself was clean, spacious and well kept and the swimming pool was most welcome to cool off after a long hot day. There were no water and electricity on a couple of... More

On our one month trip to Namibia we have seen plenty of different accommodations across the country and price segments (see list below). The Eldorado is close to the top of the list when it comes to price-performance ratio. We liked: clean and spacious room, decent facilities, wonderful garden, everything is well kept and maintained, they have 2 leopards, some... More

Rooms are clean and comfortable with open bathroom, air condition, had a fridge in the room. Terrace outside. We booked dinner, bed and breakfast. Delicious home made farm kitchen. Place is decorated with game trophies, may be not everybody's taste. Garden is well looked after. Place is owner run. They must have a lot of bad experiences because the set... More

If you are looking for warm friendliness (hello, good morning, how are you etc.).... You should not stay here. For example: When I knew that I was going to be late for dinner I sent a txt informing I was going to be late. No answer. Instead there was luke warm to cold dinner waiting for me. Whilst handing over... More

Complaints from ALL our other guests at the time about a certain female guest accosting them one by one demanding a free hitch hike to her next destination will definitely reduce ALL friendliness to zero. It speaks of a total lack of respect for our business, us as owners, for our guests who were here at their own expenses and... More

Decent place for a rest enroute to Etosha. Stayed here 1 night. Last minute reservation- turns out it was only minutes from the park entrance. Very happy we didn't stay in the park after seeing the lodging there! Staff happy to be there - an attitude that is refreshing to find in Namibia! Owners seem to be gentle and patient... More

My wife, son and I visited the camp misled by the road sign "cheetah conservancy". As soon as we drove into the camp we saw three enclosed cheetahs being displayed to a group of tourists just like in a zoo (or a circus rather). The only difference is that the guide in order to motivate the resting cheetahs, had to... More

Dear Sir! I want to thank you very much for giving me this opportunity to promote our predator walks. Please note that we are part of "Etosha Conservancy" and CERTAINLY NOT "Cheetah Conservancy". This refers to our region and the signs were put up by our government. Please drive by again on your way to Etosha and read properly. The... More

We camped here for one night on our way between Etosha and Damaraland. The campsites are grassed which was a change from most in Namibia. Ablutions were basic but clean. Electricity points and fireplaces at each camp. We had dinner and breakfast in the guest house and both meals were great will excellent home cooked fare!

The rooms and facilities... More

We visited this lovely place for a night prior to our time in etosha. Since it is located just outside of the park. The camp site was great, really nice and soft grass and a few spots to braai. I did not dare have a shower or go to the toilet though because of all the mozzies. They keep a... More
