We visited this lovely place for a night prior to our time in etosha. Since it is located just outside of the park. The camp site was great, really nice and soft grass and a few spots to braai. I did not dare have a shower or go to the toilet though because of all the mozzies. They keep a... More

The place is really beautiful in a simple way, not one of those luxury lodges you find in Namibia. The rooms are cozy and we can feel that it was decorated by the family who owns the farm. The owners are sympathetic and always willing to help, as all other staff members. Dinner was DELICIOUS with lots of homemade things... More

We did not expect much because of the price but was pleasantly surprised. Firstly a very friendly host and hostess - hubby is a great chef - we had the best meals in Namibia right there. The chalets are nice, clean and comfortable - with lost of personal touches. The only 2 negative points we have is we did not... More

Decent setting - lots of greenery. Decent bathrooms but there are only four for the whole place. There are ostrich's and other animals running around. The pool was very dirty and looked as though it had ticks. Nice bar area with wifi but it's limited and drops out a lot. Taxidermy in the office is disturbing. Apparently the owners shot... More

Dear Vagabond! I thank you for your review. Your comments speak of your concern for our wildlife, which I cannot fault. I wonder if you are as concerned for the wildlife, if any, that is left in your own country? Your comments are truly exceptional in its rarity! :-) More

We have just spent five wonderful days camping at Eldorado using it as a base from which to visit the Etosha reserve [only 7 kms ] the camp site has plenty of shade is neat and ablutions clean with hot water and friendly staff. The Cheetahs on site were a treat as well as other wild life

I'm just looking at revisiting Etosha after last years trip and have realised that for some reason I didn't write a review of Eldorado - a surprise as I usually write up both good and bad experiences. The cam[site is simple, but with plenty of space, shade, clean ablutions, plenty of hot water and a very friendly feeling helped particularly... More

A group of friends and I arrived full of doubts and worries to this little bed and breakfast five minutes from Etosha National Park. We were received by a family of three (we later found out that there were more children, but not present during our stay): Handel, Adri and their son. We could not have asked for better hosts!... Dear Francois! Thank you for your review! A story always has more than one side and with this response, I would like to state a few facts as seen from my side. You and your companion booked with us for 6days, from 17-22 Oct 2011. If you would recall correctly, you found it difficult to deposit the money from your... More
