My husband and I stayed here with my parents for two nights as part of our road trip around Namibia. It was by far our favourite place. The service here is outstanding. The staff are so keen to make everything as easy and comfortable as possible for you. When we arrived we were greeted by a warm and friendly member... More

Stayed there for 3 nights in April 2014. The lodge was rather empty, in fact we were the only guests for two nights. I really appreciated that they did not lower their service level or anything because of us being the only guests. The game drives were fantastic, Petrus is a very knowledgeable and an enthusiastic guide. The lodge, especially... More

We were greeted by a large Warthog cropping the grass contentedly, which kind of sums up this place, we felt contented too. The tented lodges are lovely and to watch a mother and baby Steenbok pass by in the early morning was enchanting. The staff were attentive, the food of a high quality and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Had the pleasure of staying for 2 nights in March. The experience was excellent from being greeted when parking the car right through to the end. The tents are on wooden platforms overlooking a small river and are secluded so you cant see the one next to you. Inside the tents are really comfortable and feel luxurious. The main lodge... More

Luxury air conditioned 'tented' accommodation with a beautiful lodge and fine dining. The grounds with a swimming pool are great for some down time from game watching in Etosha National Park. The lodge has an evening gathering around a fire pit - but the dinner tables are too far apart to encourage conversation, we moved ours to join another couple!

We spent three nights here after a fairly exhausting night in Etosha. It provided a superbly restful environment in which we could totally relax but was close (8 km) to the Von Lindequist Gate to dip in and out of the Etosha Park. Our luxury tented accommodation did not disappoint - was wonderfully comfortable with effective air conditioning. The overall... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend. We were disappointed. No choice of menu, no sun shades for the pool area, they eventually appeared after making a scene. Service culture had not reached this lodge. Etosha fabulous.

I agree with the previous two reviews, that this place despite being on the upper end of tourist accommodation, "something intangible" was missing there. We simply did not feel that "welcomed" and that African "warmth" we had in most other lodges in Namibia was not felt here. The main area was beautifully decorated and the individual chalets had all the... More

We stayed one night at Mushara Outpost and one at Mushara Lodge due to room availability. Outpost is the higher priced luxury property in the Musharra suite of Lodge, Outpost and Bushcamp but the lodge wins hands down. Positives at Outpost: - lovely reception area with stylish decor and plenty of comfortable seating Negatives: - individual chalets are usually desirable... More

This lodge is beautiful, the reception, restaurant and terrace area tastefully furnished. The tented lodges are attractive but on the small side. I loved it that you could lower the canvas on the outside of the shower, leaving only the glass between you and the bush, with the odd impala or oryx passing by. The siting of the tents assures...
