We had been traveling more than three weeks when we arrived at Mushara for a few nights. For the first time since Windhoek we had air conditioning. It was a luxury. The cabins are well appointed. The main lodge building reminds me of what it must have been like to be a landowner in the old days - well appointed... More

Accommodation in raised huts along a pathway. Lovely room with all mod cons, even a good air con which is rare indeed. The main house which is the dinning location is like a large safari house full of wonderful items. A seating area with sofas and comfortable chairs. Each evening a fire is lit outside so you can sit around... More

My wife and I had been on the road for about ten days when we arrived here. It is lovely setting, beautiful building furnished very colonial and the rooms are canvas 'buildings' on decks. very well appointed (fridge, kettle, safe etc.) It is quiet, well people wise, lots of animals making noises at night and arounf dawn but you feel... i agree with the majority of the previous posters comments - limited sized tent although furnished well that looks onto scrubland. The main reception, dining area is sumptuous and tastefully furnished. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. Mushara does not have its own reserve and with only a few tents, very few people seemed to go on the organised... More

The title says it all. Great to get real vegetables cooked perfectly. Well located just outside Etosha entry gate. Pretty grounds populated with warthogs, squirrels and birds. The pool was also popular when we were there. Downsides? Well the rooms are canvas and wood constructs and were probably the smallest we had been in out of 6 lodges. They are... More

We stayed at the Mushara outpost this August......the experience was unforgettable! - Really luxury in the middle of namibia - Delicious food and high level service - Incredible attention to any details - Perfect position to visit Etosha (just few km from the main gate) On of the best lodges of my trip!

My husband and I stayed here with my parents for two nights as part of our road trip around Namibia. It was by far our favourite place. The service here is outstanding. The staff are so keen to make everything as easy and comfortable as possible for you. When we arrived we were greeted by a warm and friendly member... More

Stayed there for 3 nights in April 2014. The lodge was rather empty, in fact we were the only guests for two nights. I really appreciated that they did not lower their service level or anything because of us being the only guests. The game drives were fantastic, Petrus is a very knowledgeable and an enthusiastic guide. The lodge, especially... More

We were greeted by a large Warthog cropping the grass contentedly, which kind of sums up this place, we felt contented too. The tented lodges are lovely and to watch a mother and baby Steenbok pass by in the early morning was enchanting. The staff were attentive, the food of a high quality and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Had the pleasure of staying for 2 nights in March. The experience was excellent from being greeted when parking the car right through to the end. The tents are on wooden platforms overlooking a small river and are secluded so you cant see the one next to you. Inside the tents are really comfortable and feel luxurious. The main lodge... More
