A great place to stay when visiting Etosha national park, just 10 km from the Anderson gate entrance. Great views accross the plains with a much needed afternoon breeze as it is elevated. Individual chalets with great views out and nobody can see in. Air conditioning. Wifi only in main bar and restaurant area, no tv.3 pools around the property... More

The lodge itself is really beautiful. A view from the terrace over the park like nowhere else! The food is delicious and if you have a problem it is tried to help you immediately. One should only check the bills carefully. We were charged 3 times for the same drinks. And my watch was stolen.

The lodge and the camp are 2 different places. They are adjacent but quite separate. We stayed at the Etosha Safari Camp. I would recommend it and thought it offered decent accommodation and good value for money. It's small and charming with bungalow lodges which are quite basic but perfectly OK. The camp had a local charm about it with... More

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge, and although the lodge is big, you had enough privacy in and around your room. And the view is wonderful. The open bathroom is also big but not very cleverly designed. If one person had showered, the floor was flooded! The separate toilet was very hot and smelly and the door made an... More

Compared to everywhere else we stayed in Namibia, Etosha Safari Lodge was much the largest. Many large groups stay there. The chalets look pretty ordinary from the outside, but are comfortable and well designed inside. The tiny patio was too small to sit on, which was rather a waste of the extensive views. The views are best seen from the... More

The chalets are wonderful located on top of a hill range, all with great views towards the Etosha Park. The interior design is magnificent with a large window front to open towards a private terrace, i.e. you wake up and look out into the vast park surroundings. Bed is extremely comfortable, bathroom facilities are 5 star. The restaurant offers a... More

Our reception at the hilltop Etosha Safari Lodge was absolutely 'textbook'. Definitely up-market compared to the associated cabins and camping facilities downhill and under same Gondwana ownership. On accessing our Chalet we established that there was only one cup, one glass, and no toiletries for us. The cup and glass issues were remedied, but we were advised that the policy... More

Absolutely gorgeous view! This is the first memory that pops up in my mind when I think back to this Lodge. Located something like 25Km south of the Etosha Anderson’s Gate, it features numerous bungalows on a spiral pattern built right on the ridge of a hill overlooking the prairie and the plateau heading into Etosha. Nice restaurant and bar,... More

ETOSHA Safari Camp Lodge or Camp? Easy to get confused and not knowing exactly in which of them you finally end up, depending how and with whom you booked. The more expensive Bungalows are the one of the hilltop Lodge ( ca. $40.- extra ), the others in the Camp on the also quiet roadside slopes. Each of the Bungalows... More
