We came to this fantastic oasis just in the middle of our Namib desert trip. In short - it is really worth of coming! If you want a real exclusivity in everything - this is the place to be. Fantastic views, really exclusive safari, personal approach, a wonderful villa, most beautiful nature around. Not to mention a really delicious food... More

After 2 days in etosha park (which I highly recommend) we stayed at Onguma for 2 nights. I was a little apprehensive having read some travel guide reviews but it was excellent and definitely exceeded our expectations. The communal areas are fantastic, great spots to relax or look at the water hole. Rooms spacious and with nice views. We had... More

Just outside the east-gate of Etosha in its own private gamereserve, you really need to check out this lodging. They have four other loges/camps in the same reserve which are more upscale, but the bush camp already overcame our expectations. Don't think of camping or out in the bush: this is a lovely gardens with luxury huts, a swimming pool... More

We had a hut to ourselves outside the fence on the actual reserve. I was not sure how safe it was, but in the morning it was amazing to wake up looking at impala. There is a lovely clean swimming pool, as well as lovely grounds with well tended gardens. The food is excellent, as is the service, however, there... More

We phoned the lodge early morning to find out about last minute availability for the same night. The service has been excellent from the phone call to the "good bye" the next morning. We had a fantastic stay at Onguma Bush Camp with excellent hospitality, outstanding food and comfy linen. I would recomend this lodge to anyone visiting Etosha and... More

The highlight of my stay was awaking at 2AM to see a herd of impala grazing just outside the door under a setting moon. The rooms were comfortable, food was excellent, setting beautiful, and staff friendly. We were able to see lions, both in a pride as well as walking through the park- and the other animals' reaction to their... More

Onguma Bush camp was probably the nicest and best run place we stayed at in Namibia. Everything there was great, well, with the exception of the loud, annoying Afrikaaner family, but that is no fault of the lodge. Great food, helpful people and exceptional facilities, What more could one want? Wonderful place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Onguma. We were near the beginning of our trip and Onguma spoiled us a bit and made it difficult for other lodges to live up to the bar! Wonderful staff that's eager to help and very friendly. Steve was our guide for the game drive and he was excellent - knowledgeable, very friendly and... More

We stayed here one night towards the end of our trip in Namibia. We found it fantastic: relaxed atmosphere, beautiful location, good food, a comfortable room and VERY friendly and helpful staff (without a doubt the friendliest of all our accommodations in Namibia). A great place that we can highly recommend.

We (3 adults) stayed two nights in a 2 room bungalow at the Bush Camp. We were welcomed with cool towels and a juice drink, and friendly service (Thank you Sandra!) Our rooms were nice, relatively spacious (not huge), and clean. Nothing super extraordinary, but nice. The overall resort is small (I'd guess about 10-15 rooms/bungalows/huts), and has a waterhole,... More
